So, guy from gym is going to a TRT clinic run by morons.

I inject daily with cyp the last few years. 15mg/day. keeps me in the low 800's every day. with the top of the range is 900. Been on Dr prescribed TRT for over 25 year. Opinions can differ as to what is best i find.
Does your doc charge you $300 a month? Don't mean to disrespect your opinion, just sayin....

Also, I use oral (powdered) test undecanoate for this purpose.

The more often a person injects no matter the ester the more stabile blood values become i find. Just depends on how much fluctuation one thinks is OK. On test cyp my levels peak about 40 hours after the injection then start dropping on the average about 150 points a day.
I inject test c every 5-6 days. But I have powered test undecanoate. If I feel I need a little boost, have a brutal work out, or having "date night" with the wife I take a little bit of test U.

Works great for me. Don't want to be a pin cushion (although GH.....).

Temporary augmentation of existing dose. So let’s say you’re running 150 mg of test c weekly and you want yo run a higher dose for a couple weeks or want to blast close to trt bloodwork you could use prop. It’s never used as primary ester except by weirdos
I posted this, but it bears repeating: Oral (powder....its cheap) testosterone Undecanoate is fantastic for this purpose.

All told for TRT cost me about $500 a year for Dr. blood test, script needles etc. I have insurance.

Taking powdered TU would give very little rise in blood values in a few hours. Even over a couple days the rise would be far less a shorter ester. . All my injections are sub-q and have been for several year.

Just curious, is the 500 USD/Year a normal price for a TRT Clinic in the US? Seems very expensive

I don't use a TRT clinic i go to my Dr. and go through my insurance. Which is far cheaper then a TRT clinic. The cheapest TRT clinic i have seen is about $100 a month.

I use the TU when I need a little boost. Lets say it is 5 days from my last test shot. I am doing another but need a little boost in test levels sooner, that is when I use the TU.

I understand. That is what i replied to. With a half life of TU over 20 days that drop you are feeling after injecting TC may well be from the TU actually. As the amount of TU that got into your system in the first 24 hours is very small. And would start dropping after about a week.

On 200mg/wk split MWF, my total T was 1700 and my E2 was 127 at 24hrs post injection. On 210mg/wk split daily my total T was 945 at 24 hours. On 185 split into daily injections, my total T was around 800 and my E2 was mid-40’s at 24hrs.

I’m on the low end of SHBG and used to be able to feel a difference on injection days. I assumed it was placebo but my bloodwork seems to support that I have pretty big swings from less frequent dosing.
