So i tried to make a 500mg/ml batch of test cyp. Measured,heated and upon vacuum filtration it solidified what am i doing wrong?

Used the steroid calculator for measurement and still messed up its been cooking for over 30min on the hot plate at 100c..off and on but won't filter

Test cyp can be made between 200 and 300 mg and for 100 ml of finish product you need 20 and 30 gram of test cyp raws. Raws aren't 100% purity so you put extra 5% more as they usually are 96-98%. Some raws come in purity lower than 96%.
Tren e 200-250mg is usually made and you need between 20 and 25 g of raw for 100 ml finish product. Add 5% more for the purity to compensate and it's 21g or 21,25g.
Tren ace 100mg and same formula applies here

Each ester can be made,hold and be usable at a certain mg/ml. See what a ugl sell and that's the limit usually. If that was the question.

Man thst shit yelled up over night so I chucked it.. I made another using that same calculator to the T and it's doing the same thing this was for 200ml at 250mg per ml. It won't pass thru the filter and once cools off it gels up like cold cooking oil. Heated at 100c for 20min then ran thru filter

It sounds like your ml or mg measurements are kind of off. How are you accurately measuring the mg of powder and ml of liquid? The markings on the beakers are not accurate.

GSO 2% BA 25% BB 250MG/ML should hold without crashing.

For future reference if you want to make a higher mg test use Enanthate ester as it is easier to get to hold in a solution than Cypionate. With that said there is a reason you don’t see 500mg Test out there very often in any ester. Can’t blame you for trying though. Lol

For future reference if you want to make a higher mg test use Enanthate ester as it is easier to get to hold in a solution than Cypionate. With that said there is a reason you don’t see 500mg Test out there very often in any ester. Can’t blame you for trying though. Lol

Thanks I was wanting to see if it's possible.. Im new to homebrew so it's a learning experience gotta start somewhere. Enanthate I've only seen 400mg/ml out of China premade

Quick math.
You got 200ml
BA = 2/200 = 1%
BB = 30/200 = 15%

It's essentially 1/15. You need 2/20 to barely hold 250mg/ml w GSO.
For cold weather i'd recommend you go slightly higher, maybe 25% BB.

They simply resell raws. That TC you bought might have been the best batch they've had this year. The other batches aren't as good.

All the vendors are a little iffy as of late so your best bet is to just follow some vendors post and watch their customers feedback.

I did away with vacuum filtering long ago, way too slow and inconsistent. Try using a peristaltic pump with capsule filters if possible and are doing enough quantity such as 1000ml +. I can do a 5000ml vial with the capsule filter in under an hour. Sometimes one capsule filter will do the job but sometimes it takes more than one. The peristaltic pump setup is a little more expensive from the get go and the filters run around $70-$100 each but the simplicity of them makes the extra cost worth it.

You did wrong the whole recipe. It is simple you can not hold 500mg test with a standard recipe. Do it at 250 or 300 max. No need for 500mg. Much better inject 2ml of 250mg than 1ml of 500. Even if it holds, you will get some serious pip

Ive seen 400 test why not 5?

What you have probably seen is a vial with a tag that says 400mg/ml and that or has some pip or the 400mg is just on the label and not on the product. Even with 20-25% BB and MCT will barely hold, be super unstable and probably has pip

Agree with other posts
max Cyp mg/ml is 250 but only with min 20% BB
Enanthate is more forgiving and can be brewed to higher concentrations
