So my friend has a weird issue.

The friend I was talking about before told me that for like ten yrs, she is able to push out a tiny bit of milk from her breasts. Its not painful and theres no lumps, and it doesnt coincide with her period or anything. She has never taken any steroids or PEDS, although she is very overweight. Does that mean she has high estrogen or something? I don't think she has ever bought it up to her doctor. She is hypo thyroid if that matters. She has never had kids. Should I be worried about her?

She may have a prolactinoma. She needs to see a doctors. But since it's been there for 10 years it might not be severe. When it gets bigger she will have other side effects

She could have a tumor in her pituitary gland. I date a girl who would lactate and it was caused by a pea sized tumor near her pituitary gland. She was on Bromocryptin for years but stopped 4 years ago because she didn't like feeling dizzy and foggy mind all day long.

As has been said, go see a Dr.

She should see her Doc sure, but some females will develop nipple discharge at mid-cycle when E-2 levels are highest and as such are NOT necessarily considered abnormal nor do they require an extensive workup per se.

There may also be other factors such as her thyroid FUNCTION or the use of BCPs that you are unaware of ………… there USUALLY IS
