sodium the truth!

So i watched this video on youtube where this guy was saying sodium is good for strength, cramping muscles, vascularity, muscle definition and even healing. and he goes on to say most people do not have any issues with sodium even in high amounts, in fact he said lack of sodium can cause lack of performance, cramping and flat undefined muscles. and he recommends 8 grams of sodium per gallon you drink. I have been trying this out and so far i feel like a million bucks! and I'm on cycle too i know most people are going to freak but my blood presser is perfect. why is there so much stigma attached to salt? and is it really as bad as people say?

I check my blood pressure twice a week and sodium raises my BP. 8 Gs of sodium seems excessive. How would you even get 8Gs of sodium a day?

yeah i can see that i dont have any issues with hypertension. its really helped my waights i mean so has the gear but the gear is not as fast acting as the sodium just makes you feel like a beast. i take sea salt in every jug of water i have and i drink about 1 and a half gallons of water a day, 1 gram is about a half a tea spoon its not much.

My understanding is that there's quite a wide range of acceptable levels of sodium... And that it's not the nett amount that matters for health, but the ratio of sodium to potassium to magnesium. I think it's supposed to be about 10:4:1.

I feel loads better, less crampy and more energised and efficient when my electrolytes are right/balanced.

Potassium is supposed to be higher than sodium, I believe. Not sure on the magnesium.

I try to keep my sodium around 2500 on the low end and 3500 tops. Potassium is around double that.

I track all that stuff and monitor blood pressure closely and it absolutely affects my blood pressure and how I feel. When I'm off cycle and eating like that I'll be 110's over 70's. High sodium and low potassium it'll be 20 points higher or more after awhile. I need to look into the magnesium thing.

I take it as magnesium bischelinate. If you take you much at once it's a strong laxative! But it really does add energy (if you were short of mag).

yeah i honestly dont know where my potassium or magnesium is i eat , 2 bananas and 4 cups of potatos thats all i know that have alot of potassium or magnesium , i just feel way better with salt in my diet its like the thing ive been missing
