Hello All,

Not sure if my post is in the right place.

I'm 5'3 and 122 pounds. I want to lose a little bit of fat but without losing my curves. I have no money to hit the gym so all I can do is run.

Can someone help me with what kind of food I should be eating? What kind of food I should stay away from?

Thanks for taking the time and helping me out with this ;)

You are not too far from your ideal weight. How many pounds do you want to lose? You didn’t mention how old you were? Have you ever tried going on a diet before? I know a lot of questions.

I would suggest you find a diet that works comfortably for you. I have tried many diets but found that I just couldn’t restrict my eating habits like that. Finally, what worked for me was portion control. I simply ate half of what I normally eat. Running is a good exercise. Experts say that an average person uses 100 to 105 calories with every 2000 steps taken. Maintain a low-fat, low calorie diet and exercise for at least 30 minutes every day. Do this consistently and regularly and you’ll find the weight loss results you’re looking for.

I had a hard time with some of my favorite snacks. Giving up candy was seriously impossible for me. You might want to try substituting things like that with a healthier option. Like for instance, I used CocoPure as a healthy http://www.newvitality.com/shop/coco-pure.aspx substitute for candy bars. CocoPure has just 30 calories a serving, great chocolate taste and it contains green tea! Green tea helps to burn calories more quickly! So with foods you feel you can’t give up, try substituting with a healthier option. Hope this helps.

For proper diet information, try going here www.bodyforlife.com I have sent many clients there for information, its a good starting point for someone like you.

Also besides running, you should look up for routines to do at home to help build muscle and bone density, like push ups, pull ups, planks, squats...ect

Great Info, I joined Newtopia to lose weight, educate myself on having a better awareness of my body, my spirit and to enjoy an appropriate

lifestyle change to maintain forever.

With Newtopia you get a personal coach. I met my coach every week who encouraged and inspired me & organized my diet, exercise and behaviour

daily and weekly. My coach worked on my physical fitness and provided suggestions to my physical trainer on adding more weight bearing exercises

to my routine. After 3 months of the Programme, I lost 20 pounds

Check out Newtopia if you want a LIFESTYLE CHANGE & LONG TERM RESULTS.

20 pounds in 3 months? Damn, you got screwed. I was losing 12 pounds a month on ECA.
Maybe you should SPAM ECA instead. :D
