Source sent shit with wrong zip code

I ordered a bunch of shit from a source(international). I've used them 20+ times, no problems. USPS tracking shows my pack delivered to Jacksonville, Fl.(300mi away). Source sent me copy of label and only thing wrong was one damn # in zip code. Anybody ever have this problem?

Ouch that really sucks. Seems the person who prepared the package misread your zip code even though you made sure you gave correct info. Why not reach out to the source and explain what happened?

Surprised USPS didn’t cross check to make sure address matched zip code.

That one number is significant to the post office. Those numbers mean location.
I’ve worked closely with the post office before. It’s a big deal those numbers!

In a different job, yes, I have had SIGNIFICANT problems with a single digit being off.

You deserve a refund.

It sounds like he used the wrong words...

It wasn’t delivered to an address in Jacksonville, it was transported to the post office in Jacksonville where it was finally rerouted.

The odds of there being the same street and number in Jacksonville is pretty unlikely...

Can you confirm this OP? The concerns are accurate if it was actually “delivered,” but I don’t think that’s what you meant...

This. Forwarded to the post office not to the actual address. They caught it.

i've had that happen. Except the fault was of USPS workers who were deaf, dumb and blind, because when they finally corrected the issue, the pack had all the correct information on it and was perfectly legible.

None the less, everything worked out fine.
