I think so too. Not sure if ever do it...but it would be short lived. Maybe make a bunch of gear and sell till it was gone. Rinse and repeat every so often.
I can assure you the idea of it is a whole lot more romantic than the actual act of researching, buying, making, packaging, selling and distributing. Not to mention the money laundering, stress, relationship issues that arise from international drug smuggling, manufacturing and distribution, I'm forgetting something....

So I ran some sample numbers and sourcing is ridiculous.
Let's say I avoid customs and buy my raws domestic. To brew 1L of all available product and then sell it for half of the biggest overpriced domestic reseller...it would net about $3100.
If I sold (if) 2L/month I still wouldn't come close to making what my day job does. Not to mention these numbers don't include anything about my time, overhead for cyber security, or trips to ship products.
Fuck a bunch of that small change for a gamble on doing 25 years.

I'm still going to brew my own shit to save some coin...but as for sourcing to be a solid domestic supplier...not worth my time. I didn't see it until I did the math. Fucking Christ man...price list looked great though....wish somebody would sell domestic at half of big P's rates!

For some reason I trust this board. Been reading a long time before joining. The keyboard battles I could do without...that and the knowledge pissing contests. No problem. That type of source isnt a mirage. They are around. Some are on other forums, some are private, some are public that cater to good customers that they are friends with. It takes a little time and the development/cultivation of relationships. Just be careful who you are a douche bag to!! You never know who has the goods!!
