Spetz Gear

good log definetly keep us informed.
You can use nolva/clomid (serm) on cycle to control estrogen. Most people will tell you to run AI, because they ...

1.) Had/have no clue you can use serms.
2.) Following the herd of what everyone's doing.

If you can't get an AI, by the time you start your cycle that's fine, the serm will work until your AI arrives.

Good luck
howard how would you run nolva during cycle? at first sign? how many mg? for how long?

Shit's goin good fellas. It's about week 4 and the pumps are fuckin unreal. Strength is finally showing improvement too. Having trouble getting the arms to grow so I've started hitting them twice a week. However my legs, back & shoulders are exploding.

So on my pin this morning I think I hit a nerve in my quad. Felt a quick pain and my leg spasm'd. Obviously I drew the needle out pretty quick after that. I switched needles and went more outside the quad for the injection without problem. Rookie mistake I guess. Anyway, having a little pain right above the kneecap in the muscle now. Not worried about it, but has anyone else ever experienced this?

Ya man... Don't stress it. Some people go quick in to the muscle, I actuually prefer to go slow for this very reason. That little spasm doesn't seem as shocking, haha. Never pulled the needle back out as it wasn't painful or anything, just weird. You're all good though.

Good to hear bout the training man, keep it up. For some reason, I don't know if it's just my genetics or something, I have trouble growing my arms compared to the rest of my body, no matter how much I train them. Just gotta keep at it I guess and hopefully they'll catch up. At least that's what I assume.

I'm sure my issue is genetics. I have a lot of natural muscle on me but it's all back & legs. My arms are long and skinny in comparison

@darkseid - Brother I am too big or should I say not flexible enough to hit my glutes. I shoot all my gear through my quads. Make sure you are pinning the middle, outer portion of your thighs. Also sit on a surface that pushes up on your hamstring (i.e. a table or bench were your legs cant touch the ground). Find your pin location then lift your leg off of the table and straighten it, you will see the outer meaty portion of your quad separate or pop out so to speak. your pin location should be in and on the middle of that meaty portion of your quad muscle that is popping out. Then alcohol it and go.

When actually pinning stretch the skin a bit and insert the needle slowly. The slower you go, the more able you are to feel when u actually hit the muscle (like a minor bee sting). Once u feel that sting u know your in the muscle. Always inject at a 90 degree angle (straight down). Pullback on the syringe to insure there is no blood in the syringe and inject slowly. For the remainder of the day I constantly stretch my quad and even use a foam roller.

Most of the time but not always, the better/cleaner the gear the less PIP u have. But the stretching and foam roller insure u have no lump and dramatically reduce any soreness. I personally use a 22gx1" needle for my quads and all of that needle goes into my thigh.

Hope this helps brother!

Thanks for the tips Big Mike, I'll put them to good use.

Have any of you guys had 'bicep tendonitis' before? I've kind of self-diagnosed it because it's the only thing that makes sense. When I work my biceps or do any movements that really involve the shoulders I slowly start getting a bad pain in my anterior deltoid and down my bicep as the workout progresses. This week is bad, and it stopped me from finishing my arm workout and my shoulder workout.
From what I understand resting is the only way to fix this, as the tendon is chronically inflamed and it needs time to get the inflammation out and heal. The problem is, I'm not going to stop fuckin lifting weights (or even training shoulders/arms) when I'm in the middle of a cycle. If my best option to just lighten the weight and try to find exercises that don't aggravate it as bad? I experimented today and it seems no matter what shoulder movement I do I get a little bit of pain. I'm going to use small doses of NSAIDS, but I don't want to use them heavily while still using my oral (dbol). I feel like that's just a little too much on my organs. Anyway, any advice on this is appreciated guys. Thanks

Well guys the strength is here. I took a couple days off like I said and significantly increased my omega 3 fatty acids. Join problem FIXED! I hopped on the bench press yesterday (was doing chest and back) and warmed up. Put on 225 and my hell it felt light I just hit twenty reps with it like nothing. Jumped up to 285 and hit 14 reps, then 295 for 12. Went and did some flies and more back work, came back at the END of my workout and hit 315 for 6. Incredible feeling and I'm hooked.
Not looking forward to coming off.. but at the same time I am so I can plan my next cycle and experiment with different compounds. I'll be taking 16-20 weeks off before I hit the next cycle right before summer starts.
Anyway, just wanted to update and say that the strength is undeniable. Really happy I was able to find good gear my first time round. Though I must say I did put in the leg work and did my research for it!

Been a while since I've updated.. Life is busy! Got that new job so trying to get things in order for that. Between that, regular work, gym time & family time I don't really do much else.
Anyway, approaching the end of my cycle now. Been off the dbol for a couple weeks so it's just teste now. I think I may use that last two weeks of the cycle while it's still in my system to cut some fat down. The test should help me retain most of my strength/size during this, and then I'll just go back to maintenance afterward. Anybody else do things like this? Found success this way? Thanks

What up darkseid, a lot of people do this. I'm in this phase right now... Makes it easier to maintain muscle while cutting. I'd suggest when you go in to PCT though, to eat slightly above maintenance as to not lose the newly developed muscle. I know your goal might be to cut at this point, but tis crucial not to back-track right here. Just my opinion though. Good luck man

I've done this my last few runs. I slowly drop cals towards then end of my cycle this way i avoid putting on extra bf when im off. I've found if I eat the same amount of cals when I'm coming off I turn into a complete fat ass...

Hey thanks guys, I'll follow this protocol too and see how it works for me. How many cycles do you guys have under your belt? Did you wait a few before trying tren? I'm planning my next cycle already, which I'll run about 18 weeks after this one ends. (Almost beginning of summer). I want to use test prop as my base, but I'm debating between tren/stanzolol/masteron for my second compound. What do you guys think? Thanks for any input.

Wanted to add some current stats too: weight is now 303 lbs, height still 6'7".
Bench press: 315x8 for three sets, squat 315x8-10 for four sets, bent over row 225x8, four sets. (Before you say something about my rows, I don't do them like your standard gym rat, I am around a 90 degree angle with full range of movement, and I like doing them this way because I find it far more challenging than standing up vertical and shrugging the fucking bar and calling it a row)

Dark, I've been following...just be careful with the caloric intake as you come off, I usually drop from 5000 cals to around 3000, then drop again to 2300-2500. Keeps me from adding fat, it's easy to do if you watch what you eat! Oh, try to plan your next cycle with test and add one compound, if you add more and you have a reaction, you won't know what your body is reacting to...you have time to plan your next cycle and the one after that...go slow!

defresh, I was only planning on using ONE of the compounds I listed along with test. Was just fishing for opinions on which one. No way I'm running all that for a second cycle.. I have time :) Thanks for following!

Alright guys, sorry it took me so damn long to get a conclusion here. Been real busy with the new job and such.
I stopped pinning Dec. 5th, and ran the nolva/clomid as outlined in the beginning of this blog. No recovery issues at all. Almost felt as if I wasn't coming off anything at all.
My ending weight was 308 lbs, (this was about Nov. 25th, and I started cutting on cycle). I had accumulated a decent amount of fat however my strength was up to remarkable numbers for me. Bench press-405x1 Deadlift 455x6 Squat 385x5.
I am now sitting at 290 lbs and still trying to cut a bit of the fat off. Obviously my strength has fallen back as expected when coming off and cutting some weight off.
As far as keeping the gains go I have lost quite a bit already. However I do not blame anything other than the new job. I am in a basic training for the new job and we're frequently running and doing cardiovascular/calisthenic workouts and there's just not much time left for strength training. So since Dec. 5th I've only been making it to the weight room 2x a week, sometimes less.
However I will be around to run another cycle when I will be able to focus on it here in the next 2-3 months. No job change means I'll be able to lift, eat, sleep, work repeat. No goddam running for miles a day to get in the way.
