Hopefully some bros here can reccomend some good books in the area of spirituality and religion. I have been up in the air about religion and God and have started to become more centered on this. Life situations that I have recently gone through have really brought me back to God and really want to do some reading to enlighten myself. Thanks guys.

A Case for Faith, by Lee Strobel. His other "Case for..." books are also quite good.

BS have you read Strobel's "Case for Creation" it was recently published. I read about half of it at B&N the other day. It is pretty good. I'll finish the rest the next time I go back. :)

I recommend anything by CS Lewis or Alistair McGrath.

I agree with bob smith, but the book to start with by Lee Stroble is his first book called the "Case for Christ" Strobel had the same questions that you do, and this book is what he found out. I will be praying for your journey!

Lifes lessons

Here are some books that have changed my life:

"The Four Agreements," by Don Miguel

"Many Lives, many masters," by Brian Wiess (anything by him)

"Way of The Peaceful Warrior," by Dan Millman

"The Cellistene Proficies," by James Redfield

"The Third Eye," By Lobsang Tuesday Rampa (has 16 books)

There are many more, for me, these are an answer for the thinking man's way of life. These books are based on Knowledge of the Universe, and how it works.
Not some crap for the uneducated masses, like most religions.
Organized Religion was created to control the masses. "Do what we say, or burn in hell for all Time" The Catholic Church is the most controling organization in the world. They are nothing but Politics, and money. Catholics killed and tortured more people in the name of Christ, than all the world wars put together.
Do you think Jesus Christ intended that?

Ps. The Spelling may be wrong on some of the titles
This was not intended to bash Catholics, just my observations
