Spirulina Protien

It was gritty for my taste and there was nothing special about it that would be worth purchasing it over whey or a protein blend. If I order protein and need a break from whey, then i will go with beef protein, egg protein and rice protein.
 
The taste of the plain powder is pretty nasty. Spirulina itself is quite healthy, but it's more of a supplement than a source of protein. The powder is palatable if you mix a teaspoon of it in a glass of orange juice, otherwise it's best to get tablets/capsules.

Also, as a source of protein it is quite expensive per gram. Might as well stick with more readily available and cheaper forms like mentioned above by Xlgx.
