Fuck I feel for you man I just had the same thing happen with 1 ml of test and 1 ml of deca, in the quad also, got about 1 ml in and all the sudden extreme hot flash and could feel it in my lungs stopped injecting immediately but it was to late, felt like I had the flu for about 24 hours

You hit a vein. It happened to me this weekend doing a glute shot forgot to pull back on the syringe this one time lol. Happens

Majority of veins are shallow. Using a longer needle will put you deeper in the muscle. Less chance of putting oil in vein. You might pierce a shallow vein when pinning, but the oil won’t go into the vein. This issue is most common with short needles. I use 5/8” in quad and v glute. 1” in glute and 1/2” in delts and chest

I am still alive. I made it. Will be a few months before I know if the surgery is actually successful, but doc says everything looks good so far. So what is the best way to avoid it at the thigh/quad injection sites? Just visibly avoiding veins if you can see them and using a minimum gauge/length needle?

The quads and thighs are the most heavily vascularized intramuscular test injection spots, because they support walking and running. Also more dense in nerve endings. Followed by deltoid, dorsogluteal, and then ventrogluteal.

I’ve done deltoid spots that literally almost crumbled me. It’s weird, it doesn’t go to my chest or burning at the site but my whole arm would start on fire!! Takes about 10min to go away but fuck does that suck.

look up the dart injection technique (it's how nurses do it)

It must push nerves & blood vessels out of the way or something because I haven't had a bad injection or PIP since doing it (takes some balls at first but gets easy fast)

Personally I'm not sure maybe Stan can chime in. I grabbed the primo a while ago. And I was able to grab the last of Stans mast when it was available few months ago. His mast is excellent though, best I've used

600Eq and 900test. This was also during my early days of use and was pretty misinformed in hindsight.
