Hi,

I'm Rez, a 46 year old Londoner currently residing in Thailand. Being lifting off and on for twenty years but never managed to stay in shape for long.

Started TRT this year March 2024 and loved it. Probably should of jumped on to it as soon as I hit 40.

Kept upping my Test E dose to see how much my body could handle before I got any sides... that seemed to be around the 250mg mark.

Done two small cycles since. Just trying to learn as much as I can and enjoy the process.

I'm all in, fcking love the gym now...

Feels like you actually get the reward you deserve for all the effort you put in when on the gear.

Hell yeah man. Welcome!

So you left the Big Smoke for sun and beach.
How could you? Lol

You have a fellow Thai resident in Ghoul.
I am sure he will come say hello.
Hope you brought with you enough PG Tips, Pot Noodles and Marmite to last you a while.
Cheers for the intro.

Hahahhha thanks man... yeah most of my day is spent trying to find a decent Rosey Lee and somewhere that sells a half decent Sunday roast dinner.

Welcome to the board brother and yeah I know this is an old thread.

I'm going to Thailand soon for at least 60 days and will try to extend to 90 days to evaluate the country. Very excited and just waiting on a few logistical errands before I hop on a flight. Will probably stop over in Japan for 3-4 days and do some minimal site seeing before heading over to Thailand.

I just got prescribed TRT here in the USA, so hopefully I can find a good clinic or just buy it at the various pharmacies all over Bangkok? I'm just now going through the Thailand threads here and also the info @Ghoul has provided in another thread.

It looks like I'll have to do the border Visa run every 90 days if I want to stay longer in Thailand. I'm too young for the retirement visa. I'm looking at applying for the digital nomad visa, but will hold off on that until I'm there 60 days and like the place. My cousin lives in Cebu Phillippines, so I can always camp there to get the full visa reset.

Other options for long term residency, signing up for one of the many educational visa options (as little as a few hours twice a week), or

Thank you brother. I have all of your posts bookmarked because they are like gold. You're like a walking encyclopedia with tons of valuable info.

The education visa looks promising. I would love to learn a new language and have nothing but time. All I plan to do is focus on my online business, lift, blast some anabolics, forget about the evil ex wife, and hopefully some extracurriculars with some Thai women. Going to try very hard to stay out of the bars. =]

The self defense or Muay Thai academies are another "education" option that will give you a year of residency.

Thank you bro. 12 month renewable with re-entry would be great and for only 33k baht. I've emailed them to get an appointment set up. I'll probably still take some language classes as well as it can only help with communication.

After more research it looks like I can also get ED visa for scuba diving as well. Always wanted to get scuba certified. Thailand has some of the best scuba diving in the world.

My advice would be to spend time in Chiang Mai, Bangkok, and Krabi, then settle on the region you want to spend a year in. The cool mountains and ancient city of artisans, a world class Asian capital "city of the future", or chill Krabi with easy access to the best beaches in the world and an infinite number of paradise like islands.

Of course, flights between those regions on Air Asia, Thai Smile, or VietJet are priced like taking a bus from NYC to Baltimore, making a weekend trip from the mountains to the beach (or vice versa) very inexpensive with better service and amenities than a premium economy ticket costing 20x as much in the US. Or learn to use the great train system for a more relaxed pace, even cheaper, with a sleeper car.

@Ghoul

Have you ever purchased peptides such as Tirz or Sema while in Thailand? If so, how did you go about sourcing them? From what I've read, it seems the only "legit" way is to have a pharmacist order it and honestly I don't trust that. I'd order from one of the Chinese vendors online, but I don't want to get "Locked Up Abroad" for trafficing. Any info you can share would be helpful.

I've had them shipped to a Thai friend. All the UGLs I've used consider Thailand a "low risk destination" with free reships (that's the big tell).

The reason a Thai friend gets them is because as most expats will tell you, a foreign name as recipient always draws unwanted attention to every pack, no matter what's in it.

Peptides aren't controlled substances in Thailand anyway, I'm not particularly concerned with getting caught with them, just don't want the customs hassles. I also bring them with me and have never had an issue at the airport, even when they find them.

Just don't bring adderall into the country...

Thank you for the info brother. Much appreciated.

Seems I need to make some new Thai local friends. Vigorous Steve mentioned hiring an "assistant" to help with mail issues as you suggested above.

Good to know peptides aren't controlled. I didn't think they were considering Tony Huge travels around Pattaya with a large suitcase of meds and has a giant pharmacy in his condo. I did suspect he had some kind of special agreement with the Thai government considering the wealth he brings to Thailand.

And yeah... no worries on Adderall... I stay clear of that stuff.
