Stericap VS stericup/steritop vacuum filtration

I have been researching for answers on both of these vaccume setups

Not seeing much said about stericap vaccume setups

Confused on which way to go I have ordered
DC12V Mini Vacuum Pump Negative Pressure Suction Pump 5L/min 120kpa

I figure best way to get answers is to start a thread on
I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed
I have been trying to figure out which way to go about it
I'll appreciate any advice and ya time

Which way should I go about it there both priced almost the same the cap little more , will pump run the stericap
Different filters different plastics?

polypropylene = good & Polyethersulfone=bad


Anyway I'll appreciate any help

Don't use PES membrane, only nylon, PTFE, or PVDF, last one is the best IMO.

Thanks for ya help, I got it sorted I went with

Merck Stericup Vacuum Filter Quick Release-GV Durapore PVDF 0.22um 500ml Sterile​

However the funnel is Polystyrene not Polyethylene I would have preferred the autofil pp for solvents cant go wrong then, anyway I purchased couple setups

I used polystyrene funnel always and never had problem, gear always came clear.

Almost sure 1-2% ba diluted in oil is not enough to dissolve PS during the filtering time.
