sterilizing vials by boiling

If wanting to reuse I vial I just rinse with 90% isopropyl alcohol, shake, pour out, fill again, let sit for an hour or so, then fling out. I don't worry about the small amounts of IPA remaining in the vial as it is harmless in small quantity.

So basically if i purchase unsealed vials and accessory materials, could i boil them to sterilize as in document rather than buying isoprop alcohol?

And is sterilizing a major concern?
Bill i also took your advice by not using the preperation stored in plastic, i changed the method tried 1 shot and have great gear. Only the gentle lingering pain from the Test Propionate ester. I appreciate your opinions.

Glad you have good testosterone propionate!

Personally I've never bothered with a boiling water procedure as it's so easy to buy IPA at the supermarket, and only 79 cents or something like that.

I would just by new one i never reuse any thing just in case. every one say there clean but it still happens

I agree really: I should have added, "but don't do as I do."

Because while I've done fine doing what I do with regard to reusing vials, it's pretty likely that if say 1000 people try doing the same based on a few words of explanation, at least one will run into trouble. Maybe several.

Whereas 1000 people can use new vials and quite possibly ever single one will get that part of it right.

So it's a generally safer approach. And the minimal price is worth the peace of mind and savings of trouble.

The only reason I often don't on vials is lack of organization, and procrastination, in terms of getting things ordered.

Don't boil them, it will leave a throthy residue all over the vials, and make your solution cloudy. Just use alcohol like stated above. Let them sit in a container full of 90% alcohol, then set them neck down on a papertowel while you are waiting for solution to be ready. The alcohol evaporates fast.

to sterile my beakers can i wash in hot water with fairy liquid (small amount) then put them in oven for 30mins on 150-180 degrees?

It would still probably leave the hard water mineral deposits... If you were to boil them, why not just use a pressure cooker? If you want to be extra careful, cook them in a pressure cooker then rinse them in alcohol.

Is that not the most important?!?! lol
If you DONT have an autocav then buy SEALED STERIL vials and fill with a big syring through a whatman filter.

ohh and make sure you swab everything and make sure you have a few 25g or smalller pin tips to pin in to the steril vials when filling to let out air pressure and then take out right away and DONT reuse it for another if its toched anything..

good luck
