Steroid laws in Germany

The steroids laws are becoming increasingly draconian in German. Prior to 2007, steroid possession was not illegal, only steroid sale and distribution.

But after November 2007, steroid possession exceeding a certain amount became illegal. For example, bodybuilders caught in possession of more than 632 milligrams of injectable testosterone or more than 150 milligrams of Dianabol (methandrostenolone) could be subject to prosecution.

In Fall 2013, the new German parliament is considering the introduction of a new anti-doping law - thanks WADA! - that would further criminalize steroid possession - either completely or at even lower quantities.

Ya' know Millard I DO love this country and I love its people.

I know WE have to police the world because in the absence of any other superpower..Who will? Terrorism would run rampant(even moreso) and our little marble would degenerate into a serious hellhole.

So our government "Graces" the world with its custom made to fit Democracy.

Do you remember(not firsthand) when Roosevelt gave his final speech to America prior to leaving office?

He, on the one hand praised our Democracies ability to mobilize an enormous military but he also(and I think was warning us) spoke Dead-Eye into the camera telling us to beware of the "Military industrial-Complex" and its outside influences.

We now have FOUR entities: the military,its profit-driven contractors(who reported an overall 25% profit on both wars) The Congress and as of the '90's a group of "THINK-TANKS" who are exempt from ANY voter scrutiny.

These Think-Tanks are the ones who scour the world peering into the shadows in order to root out the next threat to America.Our next military intervention. "The Project for the New American Century" is only ONE of these think tanks. Roosevelt never saw this coming.

Much of our foreign policy does NOT come from within our political apparatus but rather these think tanks.

Case in point: Even before BushII condemned Iraq for having WMD,The think tanks put forth that Hussein HAD in fact approached an African nation about nuclear components. BUT THAT WAS 12 years before Bush came to office. All of that was taken out of context because this fourth element since 1991 HAD to"prepare" America for the fact that Iraq had to go!

I have not strayed from my point but instead left it for the end of this diatribe...We are now not only the world police militarily but it has become apparent that we seem to exert a measure of Moral pressure. Especially amongst those nations wishing to stay out of our gunsights!

After 9/11 there were over one million mourners taken to the streets of Tehran. Where were they 2 years later? Burning American flags and Bush in effigy.

In short..we Blew It!! When I say "we" I,of course, mean our government!

Our government began to lie to us with the "Kappra Films" of WWII propagandizing our role in the war.

Vietnam and the "Gulf of Tonkin" incident..Never Happened yet suddenly we were at war!! Our government is NOT above lying to us. I am not some conspiracy-minded crackpot..check the already open FOI documents!! Its real AND unequivocal!!

Sad times for the Germans who believe in strength and health.

The German government may have criminalized lesser amounts of personal possession, but the citizens are still ahead of us on having the right to possess a small (more like micro) personal amount.

Hopefully the Germans will protest their personal possession being reduced or taken away completely. Maybe they can recognize if their government takes that away.... What else in their lives will the government take later?

I don't know anymore Goose. I'm tired, worn out. Worlds policeman. When we look at these acts of terrorism , and there are many, and there is not really a uniform definition of the word. We used terrorism against the Indians here in our expansion west, and during the war between the states. The allies firebombed the city of Dresden during WW11, the British used it some form or another building it's empire: in India, in Africa against the Boers, in Ireland and against the Scots. The Jews used it against the British when they were ready to drive them out. The Japenese atrocities during the war amounted to terrorism. These are of course just a few examples of terrorism being employed by a dominate power trying to bend a people to it's will (except the Jews against the British. The Jews wanted all the land and had to have control in order to use it's own terrorism against it neighbors to drive them out). I've heard the argument that a people that have lost every thing, have no power to resist and nothing more to lose will resort to fighting back in any way they can. The killing of innocent civilians, women, children and the old are reprehensible and unforgiving to me, and begs for revenge. But as usual, in the revenge, more innocents are victims. The other victims are the individual warriors who have to be in the middle of all this. These are living, breathing, feeling and caring young men and women having to experience the horrors of what their doing and what's around them, this in itself takes a toll a lot of people aren't aware of. This all has been going on since the beginning of history and just seems to keep perpetuating itself. I certainly don't know the answer, and there probably is no answer. Humpty dumpty is broken, and there ain't no putting back together. The only way were going to "solve" the worlds "problems" is kill them all, ALL. The Jews. the British, the Indians, the Arabs etc. etc. Wipe the slate clean and recolonize the whole world with Americans.

There are no terrorists other than the ones in Washington and the fatcats they are in bed with making money hand over fist while working class families feel the pinch tighter and tighter. Our military exploits over the last decade+ are nothing short of a tragedy. A fucking slap in the face of our soldiers and any citizen with even the slightest hint of inteligence. Putting our service men and women in harms way for what? A noble cause to kill citizens of third world countries? Wasting away a surplus and now burying ourselves deeper and deeper everyday. Wasting billions when our infrastructure is crumbling and our education system becomes the laughing stock of the developed world. It's all propaganda. Don't drink the kool aid.

Just curious Br1217 do you find the new, much talked about "think Tanks" To be analagous to the phenomenona of Big Data?

Or is this just another dodge by the war industry in that Lockheed has a group of parts for the F-117 Bomber made in each of the fifty states or the FA-22 Raptor similarly spread out throughout the entire country?
Does seem brilliant that theyve managed to do this even though it is entirely unnecessary and a potential powderkeg if one or more of the plants in question had to be marginilized or even closed due to any number of reasons.

Imagine the fracas it would cause if all of the Congresmen whose districts were involved in the parts/systems production had to plead their case as to why their gear in the machinery was more important or indispensable than one or more of the others!!

Wonderful strategy in my opinion. But no one ever called Lockheed stupid.

And what a waste of money in my opinion because the bad guys just steal our technology,often with the aid of our own people..Case in point:

Maybe Lt.Col Frank Zelco though,the only pilot ever responsible for getting one of lockheeds F-117 NightHawks shot down because after bomb release over Serbia in 1993 because he didnt close the bonb-bay doors,thus causing a right-angle radar reflection. The Serbs were able to use an obsolete rocket system to bring the fighter-bomber down in a muddy field in Slobodan Milosevichs' Serbia,thus prompting a very expensive H-53 Pave-Lo rescue effort to reacquire Lt.Col Zelco.(Shoulda left him out there) His plane was snuck into the hands of the Chinese Embassy in Yugoslavia and Wella! the first Chinese stealth fighter-bomber courtesy of secrets stolen from the United States!
