The purchase of anabolic steroids without a prescription is technically illegal in the United Arab Emirates but pharmacies often sell them without prescriptions.

Although drugs like Sustanon and Deca are not banned in the UAE, they cannot be legally sold without a prescription. This year, The National found anabolic steroids including Andriol, Sustanon and Deca – all banned by the International Olympic Committee – were available from some Dubai chemists without prescription, as well as from gyms and trainers.

Khalil, who is taking a break from competition, said: “I know many chemists in Dubai and Sharjah who will sell me these drugs without a prescription.”

They are very strict on what you bring to there Country.

Gear is very easy to get here. The gym I go to is owned by an Emirati police officer. He personally trains some of the UAE bodybuilders and they are all on the gear. The police are crazy are about party drugs here, you will go to jail for 5 years for the smallest amount. If you are smart you wont touch any of that here. Bit strange how they turn a blind eye to gear.

Maybe because they see more positive outcome from aas. While recreational drugs often lead to trouble and bad end.
