All that was really irrelevant and has nothing to do with your false advertising. You really should have thought out your Ad because it's coming across as deceptive. When is the last time you went shopping, saw a sign that said "35% off Sale all items" then get to the register expecting to pay a certain price only to be told its gonna be in store credit for next time, if there ever is a next time after you hear that shit. I was on your website earlier browsing looking to buy and I had a full cart $$$$ only to find out your shitty ad should have said what it is "35% CASH BACK in Store Credit". As a first time window shopper it was a big turn off. Most of your competitors are practicing what they preach and giving actual % off. Maybe because I own my own retail business I'm anal about it but I'd be having seriously pissed off customers that would never come back if I pulled that shit. Might be great for your regulars but bad for new business. To me that's a reflection of your business ethics which in return means your product legitimacy and reliability. Thanks for the Thanksgiving wishes.
We appreciate your feedback and I always bring these opinions to management for future strategies.
I assume that you are located in the US and last time I visited several years ago, cashback was a common strategy from all kinds of companies, from Best Buy to Sears, Bed Bath & Beyond or even Office Depot.
Although I understand someone's frustration when finding out that the discount is delivered as cashback, I disagree when you say it's deceptive. Our cashback credit is given instantly and you can use it on the very same order, thus saving on shipping.
Times have been rough and we offer a ton of options for one to save with us. From the price match, to the unlimited re-ship policy, store credit for product reviews, bloodwork, logs, etc, etc... So we need strategies to stay afloat while the world is melting with the worst crisis since WWII.
And 13 years of experience and reputation is the icing on the cake.
What I don't really understand is the anger and use of profanity because a source or company won't do their business exactly as you think is ideal. This is a very odd phenomenon that seems to be common place on this board. We are on over 30 bodybuilding forums and I only see this attitude here and on another forum that's supposed to be derived from this one (don't know for sure).
I have seen threads like "why we are tough on sources" and it appears that it has extrapolated from being tough on sources that actually deliver poor quality or service to questioning legit promos and policies like ours.
Steroidify has been around forever with 100's of thousands of packages delivered worldwide. We have several permanent promos and offers, some of them very good and we're currently running a free shipping promo, a buy 2 get 1 free promo, plus the Black Friday sale.
With the reputation and expertise that we have, we probably could get by just doing an occasional holiday discount once a year, and that one could be an actual cash discount instead of a cashback one, but we choose to have constant sales, auctions and a very good price match policy.
And I believe we're the only source that will pay for ANY product on our website to be tested from a reputable lab. You or anyone else can simply send a sealed vial or blister purchased from us to a lab of your choice and we will cover all costs, including shipping, up to $700.
And on top of that, no other source tests more products than us. Just visit our lab test section and you'll see.
But there are so many great sources out there, like our good friends from BasicStero, OSGEAR, PSL, all great people who are not in the business to make a quick buck or steal your money.
And you don't have to buy from us. We can't please everyone and it's a great thing that you can choose the company that best suits your needs.
And again, even though I don't make the decisions of promos and sales, I can bring feedback like yours to management for future strategies and hopefully stay at it for years to come.
