There's 2 promos going on. One gives you 40% discount, other one gives you 55% discount. I think "up to" describes the deal quite well. I could also have worded it "save 40% or 55%". Would that be better or less Walmart'ish to your eyes? Maybe...
It's quite simple and straight forward. The entire deal is written on the banner.
It's actually a deal between us and the lab and a great opportunity for more people to know the brand and assess its quality (I'm assuming you're talking about Pharmaqo's deal). Selling even or below cost for short periods is a common strategy to attract customers, especially when we're dealing with repeat customers, like the ones that buy these products.
Or maybe you are suggesting that we break even or sell below cost year round, which makes very little sense.
I believe that from the height of your expertise as a "better than Walmart customer" you do understand that every company like us needs to make money, right?
