steroids and adhd

Did steroids help with your adhd or did they make it worse? Any steroids that were especially helpful like dhts?

I got off ritalin a few months ago because it only gave me sides and made me sleepy in the end and also lately dropped strattera because i realized that it made me depressed and the vasoconstriction from it made my dick shrink even more than deca. Don't want to bother with other stimulants like adderal because i know they only make me hyperfocus on the wrong things like porn/fucking, ritalin was somewhat manageable in this regard but still too distracting.

In the moment i'm trying to find out if i can get away with just testosterone, hcg and masteron or proviron to manage my impulsivity and motivation problems.

I also suffer from ADHD, and currently, it is controllable. During AAS usage, I don't see any impact on my ADHD. This is my approach:

Optimizing Hormone Levels:

  • Optimize Testosterone Dose: Ensure it is not too low or too high.
  • Avoid Hormone Fluctuations: Maintain consistent dosing schedules.
  • Monitor E2 and Prolactin Levels: Keep them within the normal range and monitor regularly.
  • Be Cautious with High-Risk AAS: Especially 19-nor derivatives like nandrolone and trenbolone.

Mitigation with Supplements or Medication:

  • Methylphenidate: I tried this, but it had many downsides. I stopped using it once my ADHD became controllable.
  • L-Theanine: This works very well for me. The effect is subtle but noticeable and very compatible with my regimen.
  • DHT Derivatives: Consider emotional support from derivatives like Masteron and Primobolan.
  • SSRIs (e.g., Fluoxetine): These might be options but should be used under medical supervision.

Funny you point this out. I have legitimate adhd but it’s not recognised in this country as an illness. I used to self medicate with speed and I Do Not recommend that anyone does that.

High E2 puts my adhd through the roof and I actually believe the way E2 is used in the brain is the main driver for this. For whatever reason if my E2 is high I zone out and make mistakes at work.

Low to normal levels of E2 and the adhd is completely gone. It’s high e2 that causes things to get a little disorganised. My brain just gets flooded with unimportant shit it’s kinda wild.

Ritalin is a load of crap. Amphetamine works a lot better. DHTs like Winnie or mast also help.
