Stooch's 1st cycle log (starting from day 5)

stepped on the scale this morning and, assuming the damn thing is accurate, i'm sittin at 182. With 2 more weeks of dbol left, i hope i can keep pushing myself and build a strong jumping off point for the test, which should kick in pretty soon right? I've got back/bi today, my personal favorite. going to try and set some PRs on deadlift and rows plus bring the biceps out so the ladies can take a look. hahaha later ya'll
 
Yeah stooche def get out of the 3 set mentality. I personally prefer setting and repping to failure, supersets, tri and quad sets. Have fun with it and always change up your workouts.
 
I agree with exile. I've been alternating weeks with supersetting certain exercises, and dropsets on the others, then switching it up the next time around. It seems to help get some great pumps and vascularity in getting insane, even with what I consider high bf%. Not to mention my stamina is through the roof compared to a few months ago.
 
I've definitely been doing more than 3 sets but i'll try and incorporate your advice and add some supersets to my workout. I'm pinning for the 6th time today so i'll try and do an update later tonight
 
Update

today is legs...which i have yet to do. I slept terrible last night so we'll see if it impacts my workout. as for yesterday, however, i did shoulders and calves and felt like a beast throughout my workout. after finishing up in the gym i hopped on the scale and weighed in at 184.

oh here's a question for yall. a buddy of mine hooked it up with some winnys (i can't remember exactly how many), anyway i was thinking of adding adding winny to the backend of my cycle to help preserve gains. i was thinking 4wks at 40mg a day. does this sound good? what week should i run it and will it change my pct at all?
 
Trouble sleeping can be a sign of over training.
Hope you are getting plenty of magnesium in the diet,I is very important for BB
Expect the test to show its strenght benefits around days 21-28.
 
Update - Day 22
I just pinned this morning and headed off to work but before i got out the door i decided to step on the scale. I haven't been feeling any heavier but i was amazed when i read the scale. 187. God damn, i'm putting on weight fast. I just started my 4th week and i'm already up 15lbs. If i keep gaining at this pace i'll be up 30 fucking pounds! hell yeah!

yo Ren, i definitely have the hunger now. I'm carrying around 8 tupperwares packed to the brim with goodies to work. A couple weeks ago it was only 6. Speaking of eating, i think im going to smash on some pasta...yum.

One other thing worth noting is my temper. I've always been a pretty impulsive, hot-headed kind of guy but recently trivial little things are starting to piss me off :mad:. My buddies are constantly having to remind me to cool it but so far my temper hasn't got the best of me.

one last thing, i saw a couple of my highschool friends this weekend and the first thing they said was "holy shit bro, have you been juicing?". That put my in a good mood.

Week 4 here i come!

I've been dealing with the same thing bro. Little things that I would usually just shrug off really get me going. The most important thing is to realize what is going on, and keep your head. Easier said than done, I know, but we have to do it. ;)

Day 25

I pinned last night after scarfing down a massive steak and some taters, very satisfying. Today is going to be chest so i'm going to go heavy and see what happens, hopefully i'll break some prs and really go beast mode in the gym.

My coworkers are starting to make comments about me looking bigger. 15 minutes ago a woman i work with said, and i quote, "Are you doing some sort of steroids thing cause you're way bigger". I laughed and told her i'm eating 6,000 calories a day, which is true, but I omitted some other controversial information.

Increase in appetite is phenomenal. I'm easily putting down 4-6 cans of tuna a day plus turkey burgers, steaks, half a dozen hard boiled eggs. And thats just the first half of my day [:o)]

I'm lovin this cycle! Oh, one last thing. What do ya'll think about adding some winny at the backend of my cycle to help keep gains? I was thinking 40mgs/day x 4 weeks.
 
I'm going to start a new thread for my previous question. seems like the responses might vary and i want to dedicate this thread to my cycle log.
 
Shouldn't you guys have your cycles already planned out before you start changing and adding? I was reading another first timer's cycle and he keeps adding and changing things. Maybe you guys need to have things inline before you start!!! Not trying to start any shit, but it just seems to give me peace of mind when I have things already planned out before I start... A well thought out plan for supplements is always GOOD!!!

Proper PCT, diet, rest, genetics and finally routine will play a role in what gains you keep. Winny at that point will dry you out some, maybe help you burn some fat if you dial in your macros right while using it.. That's a moderate dose, 4 weeks aint shit.. It can't hurt..

You have HCG and Nolva for your PCT and maybe some Arimidex in case you need it on cycle?

I would back off that amount of Tuna yesterday bro!! Take it from someone who has had Mercury Poisoning....it's not fun :(
 
Mercury makes you weigh more,its good bulk up food;)

Gibster you didn't get Mercury poisoning from eating tuna or any fish ,so why are you telling people not to eat tuna

Yeah, I don't think im going to stop eating tuna anytime soon but i'll try and limit myself to 3 cans. Anyhow here's and update

Its thursday and tonight im going to pin for the 9th time. Which means its day 34...i think? I've been done with the dbol for almost a week and i'm not missing it at all! The lower back pumps/calf pumps were too damn much for me. However, I do give it credit for jump starting my cycle and making me very euphoric each i took it. Weight is at 191 right now. Hopefully i can reach 200 which would make total gains around 30lbs. 210 would be sick but for my height and bone structure i'll be satisfied with 200. Biceps yesterday were off the hook and the pumps i had were so ridiculous. I couldn't even put my backpack on when i got out of the gym. I had to have one of my friends at the gym help me. Haha good stuff, i'm definitely lovin this cycle.
 
I'm sitting at 191 right now. Past couple days i haven't been hitting my caloric targets so i'm going to try extra hard to meet them this week. Hopefully i can hit 200 but i think im going to have to up my caloric intake. Oh, and i just started my winnys @ 40mg a day.

in regards to the winnys, will i see any noticeable results if i continue to eat lots of calories.
