Stopping Reta/tirz

Hi guys. I'm interested in losing about 30lbs and have been researching these weight loss peptides. I'm on TRT right now so I'm familiar with injections but I'm curious to hear from people that have used either of these peptides for a while then stopped. How long did you use? How do you feel now? Did you relapse? Do you feel like you need to continue running it?
Thanks guys.

Lots have used them myself included with success. However, it is very likley if you stop completely, the weight will start to come back on again.

You'll regain some weight, sure, but if you keep your diet on check you shouldn't regain anywhere near all of it. But it depends on your eating habits.

I'm currently starting tirz. I plan to use it for a 4 or 5 months slow cut, then stop. After stopping I expect to gain some weight, of course, but that's part of the plan, since I'll start bulking. I'll hop on tirz again once I'm satisfied with the bulk.

It really depends on the angle you’re coming from. Not everyone uses these strictly for weight loss. In most cases yes, but some of us use them to fix things like insulin resistance. That’s actually why I started.

I ran tirz for a little over a year and switched to reta a couple months ago. I don’t really have plans to stop because for me the upside is all positive and I don’t see meaningful downsides so far. Appetite control, glucose control, overall well-being all improved.

If your main goal is dropping 30 lbs, I’d start with tirz before reta. Tirz is much stronger when it comes to appetite suppression, which makes fat loss way easier. Reta is great too, but it’s not as aggressive on hunger for most people.

As for stopping and relapsing, that mostly comes down to habits. If nothing changes lifestyle-wise, weight can creep back. But if you use it as a tool while fixing diet and behavior, it’s a completely different outcome.

i used reta for about 5 months and lost 35 lbs very easily. I stopped over the month of december and i definitely did put weight back on quickly, but it was the holidays. I am back on now to try and reverse some of the damage but really all positives.

I've been on reta for a little over six months now, have not stopped but twice I did skip my weekly dose just to try and get a feel of what stopping would be like. Both times my hunger came back strong within a couple days of the skipped dose.

Now that I have built up a bit of a tolerance I notice hunger coming back 1-2 days before I'm due for next dose. So I know I will gain weight back once I'm off completely.

My plan is to taper down to a maintenance dose, then taper off completely and re use it as needed to cut any gained weight periodically.

ive been on tirz for about 6 months and dropped 40lbs. being on trt definitely helps because you wont look like a "deflated balloon" since the test helps keep your muscle while the fat melts off.

as for stopping- i tried to go cold turkey once and the hunger came back with a vengeance after about two weeks. it wasnt even that i was hungry, it was just the "food noise" that got loud again. i think the key is using the time while you're on it to actually fix your habits and stomach capacity. most people i know who relapsed just went right back to eating like they did before. i personally plan on staying on a tiny "maintenance" dose long term just to keep my appetite in check. if you're only looking to lose 30, you could probably knock that out in 3-4 months easy if your diet is on point.
