Storing raws

I put my raws in a mason jar in the bag they came in. Everytine i squeeze the air out of the bag and fold it and close it, then mason jar close.

Yet when i go to open the bags when i go to use them they are inflated with air, is the powder have something wet that is evaporating or something? How is the bags filling with air? I use the powder quick so its ok, i dont care about degradation, if i was to store longer i would obv, use a different method since its filling with air. Its just so odd, like my bold cyp was like a balloon when i went to open it.

Vacuum sealers are really cheap. I think I paid $100. Plus I use it to store meat and fish too. Get one

Are you using any sort of dessicant packs or anything when storing them?

I have a theory (and it is a total guess) but it would be that the increased volume of air/gas in the bags is due to oxidation of the raws creating a chemical reaction that has a gaseous by-product.

I agree, no none, because i use them fast. In 6 months

I second the vacuum sealer. I'm currently using test cyp raws I've had stored in my freezer for a decade after not pinning since 2015. I had no issues with air expansion in storage, and product quality seems to be the same as my recent bloodwork is pretty near identical to what it was when I was last blasting the same raws in 2015.

Do you find some raws are bloating more than other compounds?

Strange problem. I don't know the answer.

EQ (from what I remember) was always more of a liquid/jelly than a granular powder so perhaps it gives off gases at some temperatures if it's only in a zip lock type bag and you don't really suck all the air out of the bag. When I used to order raws they always came in vacuum sealed pouches. Not a bag.

I second the vacuum sealer. I'm currently using test cyp raws I've had stored in my freezer for a decade after not pinning since 2015. I had no issues with air expansion in storage, and product quality seems to be the same as my recent bloodwork is pretty near identical to what it was when I was last blasting the same raws in 2015.

Do you find some raws are bloating more than other compounds?

The bold cyp was a baloon, test prop tiny bit, npp tiny bit, the rest none.

TLR if you buy more than what you're going to use invest in a vacuum sealer. They are dirt cheap and you can get them on Amazon or Walmart(if you live in the US or CA)

1. Buy only what you will use in a cycle.

a. I try to buy only what I'm going to use every cycle if not I vacuum seal the extra and put it in a UV protected mylar bag. They have vacuum sealers for mason jars if you want to stick with that.

b. Having more then what would be considered personal use would put me in a lot more trouble if let's say an ex girlfriend got a bug up her ass so only keeping on hand what I'm using for every cycle makes sense.

c. Buy now and save for a rainy day and leave it sealed or check on your order and reseal it immediately and put it in a cool dark place. Raws lose their potency I think 1-2% per year. So buying 5-7 years worth of cycles and 10 years of TRT for under a grand because we never know when this is going to come to an ass screeching halt. I mean who wouldn't want to have 1,000g of every compound tucked away.

d. In the long term it probably makes more sense to buy bulk when it arrives repackage it away in individual cycle packs vacuum sealed dated and pull them out as needed. But again that could be seen as intent to distribute or whatever.
