On my 30 rep, of three sets. on # 29 felt a little something beginning at the inside and just above my left knee. "one more" deeper squat. All the way down!!
I just start moving to go up and in the groin/hamstring it doesnt want to go. bound up. No spotter so I pushed through it. Felt like the muscle was caught on something off to the side if this makes any sense. and pops back over it into place. Not a ton of pain but i feel it. pressess were OUT for the day. managed exstensions with care but still 30 reps of 180. came home and got in the hot tub. gonna be feeling this one for a while. also i am nursing a medial tendonitis on my right elbow from over use on too heavy cross over and overhead curls late last week. been using an elbow band on that one and checking things off the list I have to avoid like high cable cross over and curls with any twist motion. Pressing motion is doable, all others am trying to find a neutral grip to not fire up that muscle group.
would you a. cortizone shot, or b. gh shot either with ice heat. and how long should i lay off or go light. I dont want to hear what you are going to say.
With my leg, one of the trainers thought it was a dehydration cramp from running sooo much creatine and not enought water. I have been upping my rep max every week. and making great gains now this!! same options as above are available for this issue as well. You know I want it to be fixed by the morning. lol
some specialists are saying 3 months off and I cant wrap my head around that.
