stuff in my gear? HELP!

So after reading about someone finding a floater in their gear I grabbed all my little vials and decided to take a closer look at them. I've been shinning a flashlight underneath them so I can see everything in the vial. I keep finding something that looks like a spider web in some of them. At first I thought it was just the bottle being smeared or something, but it moves with the oil. I'm not sure what to make of this. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it bacteria growth?? Is that what stuff looks like when it "crashes"? Any help would be nice. I'll look into putting pics up, but it's going to be tough.

Looks like a little jelly fish. Top left of the vial. I found some red and white floaters in of my other vials.

It's so hard to tell through photo's.

But, at first glance, I would say it looks like the gear is JUST starting to, kind of, want to crystalize.

Please take a coffee cup with an inch or two of water and microwave it for 2 minutes. Then place the vial in the warmed water for 5 minutes. Then remove the vial, shake vigorously, and re inspect. See if the "spider web" dissolves.

That will tell us for certain if it is crystallization or contamination.

Yeah, that's some gear that's just beginning to "gel up" around the edges.

Heat all of it, very well, then shake it, and I bet it's fine.

I've had gear crash and that was the beginning stage of it for me too. It was also after a night I left my windows open when the temp dipped into the 50's. good call Stretch.

Okay great. That takes care of that, but I do have another vial that most def has floaters. It looks like it had red(which could've been from the floater) and another floater that is white and looks like a piece of thread

No. We can't see any fiber.

Put the picture on photobucket, use their "paint" feature, and circle the fiber.

This is probably the "fiber like" particulate I referenced yesterday. This stuff can be found in almost any brand of gear. Including Biologic.

Whatever this "red" particulate is that people keep talking about, I have no idea what that could be. I haven't seen a great picture of a red particulate in any of PEPs gear yet though.
