Sub Q trt issues

Hi guys,

I did an experiment this year where I switched to sub Q injections for a few months, and I’ve had a few strange issues.

1- got my bloodwork recently and my TT was only at 472 on 160mg/wk!! Usually this dose keeps me at ~950, which is right where I like to be. I’m 420 natty, so this is absolutely baffling.

2- I have a 3 inch long lump on my abdomen in one of my former sub-q spots, that just recently I’ve noticed is red on the skin. It is not hot to the touch, no burning or pain. I have not injected in this spot for a month (switched back to IM after the poor bloodwork). Is this a sterile abscess, and the hormone/oil is trapped in there? What in the hell do I do about this?

Any insight is appreciated. Thanks!

How old is the lump? UGL or Pharma gear? Carrier oil?
If the 3 inch long lump is more than a week or 2 old, I would you get it checked out.

I have been doing subq shots for some time and when I use ugl test, i will get a small lump which disappears within a week. I filter the ugl gear myself before injecting just to be sure.
When I use prescription test or my own brew, I have no issues.

The lump has been there for like a month. Just noticed it was red this week. I don’t think it was before. Previously I was using same source, same batch #, with zero issues. Bottle ran out, switched to this bottle, and I started getting a lump here and there for a week that would then disappear. But then this happened.

Carrier is GSO, which I haven’t previously had issue with.

I’m switching back to pharma this week.

What volume are you injecting per subq shot?
I limit to about 0.5ml. I have heard from others that when they inject more than 0.5ml they feel more issues.

I've noticed over time, especially with training, I've had to increase my dose to maintain the same numbers. Might be time for a bump. Whether it's due to actually needing it or some kind of "androgen resistance," I have no idea.

There is possible loss that happens when you suq q. The blood flow is so poor in that layer of tissue that, from what I've read, the enzyme that breaks the ester doesn't always get everything. The delivery is so slow that you may experience low serum levels. I tried sub q and it was awful! Lumps everywhere! Got an abcess and said fuck it. Felt like shit the whole time! Idk why anyone even bothers with sub q. I read a shit ton and thought it was gonna be my saving grace! And some accounts made it sound so good...but hey if it works for you that's great haha

Seems like a few times a month the “subq trt problems” thread comes up... you would think guys would learn from others issues....

Pharma or UG?
I’ve never had a problem with pharma but yes to UG.
I think the carriers are different.
My prescription Delatestryl has:
200 mg testosterone enanthate in sesame oil with 5 mg chlorobutanol as a preservative. ZERO issues.

I have come to the same conclusion for myself; pharma test gives no issues when doing subq at no more than 0.5ml per shot. I have RX Delatestyrl too; smooth as butter for subq. Some UGL causes some grief ie AA While Others are fine like TGI. My own test cyp 250mg/ml is almost as good as the pharma in terms of subq injections
Edit: I don’t buy UGL gear anymore as I can brew most AAS AND I control the whole process From beginning to the end

I do well under 1/2cc and have never had an issue. Slight lump and gone in a few days. Holy frigin crap. I tried a solid ugls Susaton and fml!!! Big azz lump and rash. I haven't done anything with prop in it for over 20 years so totally didn't even think I'd have an issue. Someone else's deconate is even worse. So my guess is there is prop mixed in but no proof. I have always tested higher for t levels with subq than Im even with pharmacy brands. A ugl brand I tested at about 500 when I should have been at a minimum of 1000. They sent replacements but denied it was under dosed. Their under dosed gear no issues subq. But new stuff bigger lump and rash. (Prop can leave a rash or even bruising subq) from my research. In 2 plus years I have never had a rash. The only thing I have from no issues era is some Deca. So I need to pop the top on a new one and see how I react. Assuming current one could be mixed ao was waiting till closer till almost empty before pooping a new bottle. (I run test and deca in the winter for my trt) Deep IM no issues. So assuming (assofme) its a prop issue. I know the ugls aren't related. So seeming to be possibly a bigger issue or just lazy maybe.

There's lots of possibilities.

If you're injecting Cyp then the ester isn't the problem. Base, Prop, PP, Enanthate can all cause those huge lumps in S-Q.

Too much Benzyl Alcohol in the brew, cytotoxic preservative and causes localized inflammation this is why I only brew with 1% BA and depend on heat sterilization after I've capped vials.

Injection site too close to the belly button. Pin size should be 1/2" long preferably at 29g needle. This is small and won't irritate the puncture site. Small volumes should be injected <0.5ml.

Injections should be made sitting down, bending forward to accumulate as much fat as possible if you're lean.

Gear should be heat sterilized at 145 F for 35 minutes "only one time" before you start using if it's UGL, you simply can't trust any UGL to sterilize your gear because this isn't being manufactured in a Pharma plant with strict standards.

SubQ is perhaps the safest mode of injection. Too many guys running around with long ass needles jamming muscle tissue over and over. Sit down and calculate how often you will pin in your life, perhaps 2-4000 times easily.

If you're gonna pin IM, stick with areas that have few nerves like your Lats, even if you have localized swelling, you'll never know it because there really isn't much going on nerve wise.

I use a 29 or 30 gauge needle for subq. I have never injected more than .03. I even tired .01 with same results.
Pius using the deca to cut it. I take my time for those reasons. Im is 25-27.5.

Fuck I look back at the cannons I jabbed myself with in my younger days and think wtf was I thinking. But we didn't know any better.

Interestingly I am seeing a lot of guy's reporting having issues subq for the first time on a coupe trt pages. When I was in the one group who made the switch not a one mentioned those issues. Id say at least 3/4 wrote they were sticking with it too.

I know a couple of the pharmacies online that the tele/online docs use are known for their test C & E to have wicked pip. At least one was caught selling counterfeit products too. Manufacturer straight out said they were never a client or authorized reseller. The pictures of box and product provided to them were not legit period either.

The one pharmacy, as I was one of those unfortunate idiots to get prescribed their test C, we guessed it was way too high BA as the cause (2 plus years later every time I see someone mention their name or post a picture of their goofy azz label. I know the post is still going to be about the wicked azz pip). Holy frack that shit hurt. Even Im for days. (I joked but was serious it was worse than that one Mexican brand known for brutal pip back in the day) I had to toss the one bottle and make the doc send stuff from a different pharmacy.

The recent ugl stuff I' would say little to mo pip. The deconate had some but ot was not brutal. Just a you knew it. Super small dose or cutting does not help at all. First time using it straight so I don't have a comparison. I thought it would be perfect for trt if I could use it for trt subq. But unfortunately I cannot. Subq helps keep my hemocrit lower too.

The Sustanon 98 percent sure was the prop. The ugl thinks so too. He was one who told me where to looK because its common and why he doesn't recommend it subq. What it causes for me match the more minor pictures I found on some of the European groups (doctor on YouTube has a video about it too with a ton of subq pictures and the result) about issues with sustanon subq because of the prop. The other stuff is exactly the same for me too why I didn't think other things mentioned. Allegedly since I suspect the one compound pharmacy was high Ba. But thats also a lot of guessing so always a chance I am wrong and it could be any of what you mentioned.

I have used the Deca for years (subq too) and its all the same batch. Seeing as I currently don't have any Watson Test cyp. I figured if I suddenly built up an intolerance it would be the perfect base for testing as two previous bottles of it subq and I have had zero issues. Same with pharmacy grade deca. Except I knocked the last bottle I had and it broke. So all out. I cannot justify what the doc charges for it unfortunately.

I have never brewed so not up on all the little nuisances. Other than all brewers are not created equal. Great info and thank you for sharing your info.

I know the one brand when I jumped back into ugls after becoming disgruntled with the on-line clinics and their shady azz compounding pharmacies. The one used whatever its called to help hold the T in suspension. Starts with a G. First time ever having that. Shit did that crap stink. So why I was also shocked they were way under dosed if they went through the trouble and expense of adding it. But as you mentioned about thinking long term. I figured it probably wasnt a good thing long term to be putting in my body For trt so wouldn't be ordering again. Their new stuff interestingly they don't use it anymore.

I was kinda shocked to see a certain someone offering brewing to order. I personally have never seen that before. I thought that would be perfect for long term TRT use and hopefully making sure the BA/BB? weren't through the roof. Or the other stuff added. I was willing to pay more for a little extra attention to detail for what I need for my trt supplies.. Of course it was too good to be true. The floater issue ended that hope of mine. Add after that came out, I saw someone mentioning they sold a bunch to their own clients who were all complaining of wicked pip. So again mo guarantees your getting anything different. Just paying more for who knows what

sub q need more time to reach levels, how much time after starting trt did you made lab test?

on abdomen often make this reaction: i use to pin the higher fat of lateral glute and i never had any lump.

160mg in one only shot are 0.8ml is cyp is 200mg/ml:
trt sub q have not to exceed 0.5ml each shot or it give lump.
If i have to pin 160mg i'd prefer divide in 2 weekly shots

This was several months into sub q, and having been on IM for several months before that.

I was splitting my dose into two weekly shots, apprx .33ml each time.

The swelling went down, it is no longer red, and the depot that had formed in my belly fat is slowly getting smaller.

I have switched back to dr rx test, and IM, and won’t be using ugl for sub q or trt in the future.

How do you heat sterilize at 145 F ? Do you just put it in a pan? Thanks.
