Supplements

Hmmm, you need more calories, and might, but not necessarily, need more vitamins. But the good thing is that the more calories you consume, generally the more vitamins you consume aswell so it sort of fixes itself. The only vitamin I've ever been deficient in my whole life is vitamin D, and I've been working out and grappling for two decades. Nothing beats going in and getting your own bloods though of course.
I have read that vitamin d is one of the most important vitamins.

No, but vitamin levels are no different in BB folks than the regular populace beyond the fact that BBs are far more likley to be replete in several areas that normal people won't be (BB community likes pills etc and eats way more).

Vitamins and minerals on the main are pretty tiny components of food by weight, it just doesn't take much to maintain the vast majority of them by simply eating. There are a very few exceptions if you don't drink milk etc...
I am learning a lot tonight thank you.

but if your on sust your cholesterol will increase dont want to overdo it??

Sure, but that can/will happen almost no matter what... Pays to keep a vigilant eye out.

Is whey the best?
So the research says. That being said on one extreme there are vegans who achieve some nice physiques. I've used vegan protein in the past on a bulk, and it did fine by me. Use what works for your body and don't get hung up on the knitty gritty. Regardless what the fancy label says, not all proteins are created equal. Do research on the company, find out where they source their ingredients, and don't be afraid to pay for quality. This goes for any supplement on that matter. The behind the scenes on the supp industry is fucking disgusting.

Weight gainer shake during workouts. Preferably made with almond or cashew milk.

Take one after breakfast and before bed. Multivitamins,Glutamine, zma pills, creatine-arginine combo.

Avoid sugar between meals. Only ingest sugar with meals to spike insulin and absorption when you need it.

Why the fuck would you make a weight gainer shake with almond or cashew milk? If he's not lactose intolerant, he should be using whole milk because it has the most calories.

Lots of people prefer almond milk compared to the dairy equivalent. Me for one. I use half almond milk, half egg whites and then protein powder. A bit more expensive but its my preference. Not everyone is happy with the way the dairy industry does milk.

That's fine if it's your preference, but as general advice for someone who's having trouble gaining weight, whole milk would be a better recommendation.

Generally I would expect that most raising that particular objection would also be vegetarian/vegan though? Not all, but like a serious majority.

Yeah probably. I get bloated on milk, thats my main objection. Although if I found out a certain brand of milk was mistreating cows, I'd definitely never touch that brand again for anything.

Mass gainers are a good way to get fat. Whole foods offer a more balanced nutrient profile.

Mass gainers are expensive and shitty. Don't listen to Mr. "run deca for five weeks."
