Swale Consultation

Lucky SOB's

Hi People,
I have not posted here for a while, but I agree with what LiquidGib is saying. Big time.

I cannot get my doctors to look at Swales stuff.

I even got told once the ACCE Guides where rubbish and could not be believed, as "You cannot believe anything off the internet", by a doctor.

You guys who have Swale or a doctor who will work with Swale or even read his stuff are lucky SOB's.

I have been on this merry-go-round for nearly fifteen years. I do my own injection and manage my own health, but I cannot get regular bloods done as the GP thinks they are unnecessary for some one like me.

Swale has written some brillant stuff, but he is unknown down here and the doctors still use wicker lamps in the offices.

I am now seeing a female GP hoping she would be more helpful, but sadly she has no idea and I don't think she cares enough to learn.

The doctors who gave me the drugs (chemo) told me it was all in my head and would not even listen.

This site has been great for me, I learn by what you write.

Hey guys, not everbody is as lucky as you..............

Later.

When you are in the main "Men's Health" forum and it lists all of the different threads you will see, at the top, all of the stickies. A sticky is a thread which has been permanently attached to the top of the forums for easy finding. Here's a pic.

are you in the USA? If you can't find an MD or DO who is helping, consider an NMD. In any event, before any appointment is made, ask to speak to the doc or assistant and ask how the provider treats hypogonadism. Use the A4M directory of providers and further call A4M an ask for the names of docs in your state or province who have passed their boards or are in the process of prepping for their boards. I got the two directors of A4M to give me a list of people they would recommend in Arizona. This lead to securing a new doc for myself and my wife.

G'day HeadDoc,

Sorry, but I'm not in the USA, but with doctors like I seem to find, I might as well be in a third world country.

Our doctors follow the English line and telling you it's all in your head and not telling you what your results are, let alone give them to you, heaven forbid.

Wish Swale could come down here and educate them.............

Does NMD stand for naturopathic medical doctor? Why would they work with SWALE if their treatments are natural medicines.

Thanks Headdoc,

I been looking for away to find a doctor willing to work with Swale for awhile as well. I'll see if I can find one thru the methods you mentioned.

I know what you been going thru Albert, I was supposedly seeing the top endochrinologist in Canada, atleast that was what I was told, he walked out when I wasn't finnihsed asking my questions, said its in my head, and anti aging medicine is practiced by a bunch of quacks.

Thank you HeadDoc,

I'm in a rurual area of my state and would need my GP to work with one of the doctors on the list, they appear to be in our capital cities.

Tesogel was approved for use in this country as of the 1 st August, but drug companies still don't have it available?

I've got the script, but the chemist cannot get it. Talk about backwards.

Hey maxzax, I know what you mean, a few years back I was sent to the top man in my area, he read my latest blood test (off Sustanon for 8 weeks before he would see me) and told me T was ok (< 10) and gave me a referral for another doctor to check my pituitary gland, because my LH and FSH where greater then 50% over the top of the range.

Needless to say I never went, blind Freddy knew what my problem was.

A Naturopath SHOULD only treat using the most natural means possible. However, one of their main premises is to treat the problem and the patient, not the symptoms. So, if a man has low T and there is nothing to possibly bring it back to normal through natural means the ND will then try Allopathic (regular doc) means to bring it back. If it can't be brought back then they will go with TRT.

Just because they are a ND doesn't mean they always and only use herbs. In fact, my daughter got treated by an ND at an ER yesterday in Reno. I was kinda shocked at that one!
