T3 -- How long for thyroid to return to normal?

Hello,
As the title suggests. How long after discontinuing T3 does thyroid function return to normal levels?

If you have bloodwork or a study to support the claim that would be greatly appreciated, rather than just a "feels" report.

Debating adding some T3 into my current cut for an event I have in June, but I also want to avoid any potential rebound as much as possible after discontinuing

How long would you be on T3? I believe length of time plays a big part. I've read countless posts that usually the thyroid bounces back quickly, within a few weeks if kept short.

I'd also love some personal experience from members here who can say the time they were on it, and how long before it returned to normal.

Probably somewhere from 3-6 months is what I was thinking, depending on how fast the cut goes

And yeah I'd love to hear some more experiences as well, particularly on the thyroid recovery aspect

A lot of factors at play including your age. When I was younger I could run 50-75mcg for a couple months and be back to normal ranges in a couple of weeks post use. Now however it takes a couple of months and still ends up bottom/mid ref range as Im an old fuk.

thank you for the input man!

I ran T3/T4 at 25/100 mcg for a few months. Life was very hectic at the time and I didn’t take the time to analyze the situation—just plowing ahead. Anyway, didn’t realize how negatively it affected me until I came off. Smaller, weaker, worse body comp. Heart rate always jacked, always on edge. Obviously, I’m just sensitive to the stuff (it was pharma, not overdosed UGL), but point is just be super careful with the stuff. It’s been 3-4 months now and I’m just getting back to form.

Yes people should read this. T3 I felt eats in to lean tissue.
