Side note: Octopi are extremely intelligent and have been documented mimicking over 15 different species to camouflage into their surroundings. Octopi is also not the correct plural form of "octopus" as the word is not of latin origin but of Greek where the correct pluralization would be octopodes. However, no one says that shit and it's far more common to see "octopuses" used even in scientific literature. Surely those crafty lil octopuses are sharp enough to mimic some of the local species down at the Flying J and gimme a handy. If an octopus cums....is it ink? What if we came at the same time?

My name is a reference to an actual species, Wunderpus Photogenicus. They are one of the mimicking octopuses, like what you reference. They mimic stingrays, flounders, lionfish and sea snakes (probably more that haven't been documented).
