Seems he was arrested and booked on a long list of charges related to criminal activity and unlicensed cryptology services
Could this set a new precedent for other "channels" of communication, particularly encrypted email?
It could also set a new precedent where instead of (or in addition to) holding the users responsible for wrongdoing, they'll start arresting and charging the leadership of the company?
There could be more to the story. Maybe France wanted backdoor access into the platform, or maybe it was politically motivated, but still... alarming nonetheless
