BP was 132/66 last I checked with a cuff that was too small a week ago or so.

HRV couldn’t tell you currently cuz I stopped wearing oura ring since it doesn’t fit on blast

Yeah I think they’re pretty good all things considered. The GH + Reta really pushes up my RHR. Not a fan but I do like the results.

I expect my BP and RHR to drop back down pretty quickly post blast (which is coming soon), so the last thing I want to do is stress about minor increases. Just enjoying a nice “victory lap” before I become much more conservative for a long while (if not forever)
 
Hey man, thought i'd drop in and say how it's going with Sema and the anti-addiction/compulsion effect.

Well I'm only 4 days in but today I noticed a huge pivot. I fasted until 12pm and then just had an RTD protein shake. 288 calories it was and 50g protein. That actually stuffed me big time. Didn't think of food whatsoever after, until it got to 8pm when I figured I needed to start getting the protein in :oops: Hell, even when the food was in the oven earlier, I forgot I'd put it in!!! fuck. Usually if I'd gone 8 hours without food and had something cooking, i'd be crowded round it like a cayote.

This wasn't appetite related either - as I've mentioned, I'm rarely hungry, so it wasn't because I didn't feel hunger that stopped me. It's just a different psyche state not bothered by food.

I've also noticed for the first time ever, I've gone a day or so without picking the side of my thumb nail/cuticle. Whole female side of my family has always done it, from great grandma down. I inherited it. I saw a female on here mention that she had that stop for her too, so maybe I'm placeboing myself out of my issues, LOL. I have always bit my nails also, which I've just realised I haven't done either in a day or so. damn.

I don't care whether it's placebo or not, it's working and better than I'd imagine, even just 4 days in. It might be that just knowing I'm on it is enough to psychologically give me the edge on this stuff but i'LL TAKE IT!

@Luke391 There is hope this may help with your BED man. I thought I was an incurable case and would have food on the brain for my life. Now I'm trying to get 100g+ of protein in at 9.45pm because I couldn't be arsed with food all day, lol.

I wonder if you were on tirz instead of reta would your hr drop?

I’m in the final stretch of dieting but I think having a glp in the background would be good just going forward. Was thinking of going back to tirz because of the reta heart rate effects.

So my HR was also elevated on tirz but maybe slightly less? It’s hard to say.

I agree with helpful to have in the background moving forward. You’ll have to try it out imo to figure out which really impacts you most and if so, to what degree of difference.
 
Do you do the motts-c IM or subQ?
IM Delt. And it still gives me a site reaction every time. But it goes away an hour or two.
What do you notice from it and what dosage, mate? I'm yet to try it but have some on the way.
I’ve been doing 10mg ED or EoD. Sometimes 20mg depending on what dose vials I have available.

I notice less now than I initially did. But all the things you would expect from supercharging your mitochondria.

Super interesting feedback, dude. Thanks for the update. I will say I’m very intrigued by the anti compulsive component associated with GLP1. Now that you mention it, I’ve definitely been biting fingernails quite a bit less over the last 2 years while on these drugs compared to before. Used to be that guy with way too little nail / fucked up in one way or another, but now I actually have nails!

Though it hasn’t fixed all my compulsions, lol. But that’s a bit much to ask I suppose. Would be really curious in the difference of sema vs tirz vs Reta in compulsivity reduction. Since as I understand mediated predominantly via GLP1 activation, sema has got to be the winner.

When I get tired of Reta or am looking for an experiment, I’ll probably give Sema a shot.
 
Had the absolute nastiest pump today at the Dragon’s lair. Sick gym with phenomenal equipment. Was too shy to snap a good picture in the mirror on the gym floor though.

I’ve been trying to push the food and get to 300 but I don’t think it’s going to happen.

Yesterday:
Reuben Sandwich + fries
Raising Canes Sandwich + fries
24 butter cookies
AYCE sushi; 60 tuna nigiri + other assorted rolls + gyoza
3 Häagen-Dazs bars

120iu lantus + 80iu Humalog: this gave me multiple lows because of slowed gastric emptying due to fat + Reta. Had some apple juice when that happened

Today:
80iu lantus

Breakfast bagel sandwich (airport)
Breakfast burrito (airport)
Raising Canes sandwich + fries (Vegas)
2 birria tacos (Vegas)
Loaded baked potato with birria (Vegas)
1/2lb burger + fries (airport)
Baconator + frosty + fries (airport)
Sour patch watermelon
Skittles
Nerds gummy balls

We’ll see where weight is tomorrow but so far I’m just stuck at 290. Would need to drop Reta to get past this point. Just can’t eat enough unless it’s pretty dirty.

Wtf you are eating like everyday it's a cheatmeal... Man you gonna drop the lantus soon right? 120IU landus and 80IU humalog? Holy cow!

You need to be careful, you must have strong insulin resistance at the moment, the more you keep going the more it will desensitize your cells from insulin. Especially with lantus and eating like that.

I'm surprised you are not fat with all that lantus and fat meal you are ingurgitating
