Test cyp causing kidney pain ?

My local doc has no clue on hormone health other than basic blood tests from what I can tell.
I’ve been on trt for over 10 years with no issues other than lipids on high side but maintaining. I’m taking t cyp 200. I take .4 a week this puts me at about 1100 where I feel best.
I had a bladder issue develop over time that I was able to trace to most animal fats especially milk crème ect. This flared up last month with freq urine in day. Pain at night. Then seemed to pass treating with pure cranberry, kambucha probiotics but turned into a pain in right side kidney numb pressure kinda pain
Most concerning the last 2 injections of test cyp within hour administered turned into stabbing unbearable left side kidney pain for about 1 to 2 hours. Then eases into same numb pain for days.i have delayed next injection for 12 days got testosterone level test at 210. Little to no kidney pain at this level but feel like crap otherwise
I’ve done 2 blood tests and urine tests. No infection. Kidney, liver function are good but on lower side of normal. Any idea what the problem could be ? Ever hear of anything like this ?

I’ve been to both in the past I had 2 small cysts on the right kidney that where found in an unrelated mri. Nephrologist really are just trained for treating your kidneys. Once they have started to fail. All my blood test are normal in that regard.
Urologist did testing and only found a very small trace bit of blood in urine otherwise normal
Waiting on approval for another MRI now to see if anything has changed with the right kidney

Sounds like you are doing all you can and are receiving proper treatment. The most important thing is to in situations like this is everything you can as best you can. I know waiting for diagnosis and healing can be trying but you are doing great. Wishing you the best and hope you keep us updated.

I really don’t think they are going to have an answer. I haven’t taken t in 2 weeks and feeing like crap. Not sure what’s going to happen to t and e2 if I don’t do something soon. After 10 years on trt my body isn’t going to be making natural t.
So weird to do fine for so long and then have this much kidney pain hour after injection. I usually do it in the hip area. Wondering if doing it in leg would matter much or if using some other type of t suspended in another oil besides cottonseed oil in cyp would matter. Doc says there some kind of oral t avail now that doesn’t effect kidney or liver. One in morning one in evening everyday should do 1100 t from what he says ?

No switching the location of the IM injection would not work. However the oral testosterone undecanoate, for instance, bypasses the liver to a degree through lymphatic absorption, and taking it twice daily could indeed maintain stable levels, potentially achieving the T levels your doctor mentioned (around 1100 ng/dL).

Jatenzo is what he wants me to try. I’m praying it doesn’t give me same reaction. I really don’t know what I’d do if I’ve developed an intolerance for all t. I’d be so messed up
I’m still tryin to understand how it could act so quick with kidney pain inside 30 min. With oral t lymphatic absorption would it affect kidney much ?

No, not really.

You already have all the key words to search here or anywhere else to do the research on this.

KEYWORDS: testosterone undecanoate oral

There are many hits on this board and the web has endless more information that would at least let you ask a question of merit. Best wishes.

I was going to say stay hydrated. It always worked for me on a cycle. This isn't a question for a steroid forum if it persists.
