Hey everyone...
Sorry to bother you but I just had my blood tested after a decade long search and I would very much apreciate some feedback.
Thanks a million in advance.
Im male 28 and suffer from a wide range of issues such as cronic fatigue, impotence, penile shrinkage, high sensitivity in emotions, depression, ...
Here are my results
Free t4 0,77 range: 0,79 - 2,35
TSH 0,67 range 0,46 - 4,68
Test: 309 range 132 - 813
Free test 8 range 7,5 - 55
It all seems pretty low no? The range for testosterone is 132 but I read everywhere on the internet it's 300? Or is that a european/ American thing? I'm european btw.
Specialist said I'm fine, no worries.
I wanted to do more so my doctor gave me some proviron but I don't know if it's the right thing to take?
Someone on another board suggested hCG and some clomid (clomiphene citrate) as well as some atomic iodine for my thyroid.
Does that sounds like good advice?
Anyway, I would very much apreciate your comments as I am pretty much in the dark here and official chanels offer little help.
Cheers.
well, impotence is related to depression and mood changes and senstivity, emotions are easy to understand
yes, fatigue is related to low testosterone, yuor scale is universal, its in ng/dl (the other one is in nmol), yours is just fucked up because it says the low value is 132, which is BS in simple terms
you can read in all clinical studies etc that hypogonadism is referred mostly when T is below 300 ng/dl (and symptoms are co-existent)
my T is also around 300, ( last reading in July) one could say i am or i've been in same boat like you, although depression IMO also depends in a huge way on your social life, your friends, fmaily, if you have people around you that care about you and also some good friends , i've been unemployed and with poor social life, add to that overweight and impotence and there's no way not to be depressed and then you are not even sure what's the original, biggest problem
anyway im hesistant to go on TRT, havent been to a doctor, tried supplementing zinc and vit D3, these things didnt really help me i guess, but i'm overweight, but not THAT much, around 55 lbs or 25 kg... ive been telling myself i need to lose weight first to see if that alone will help me to get T levels up and cure the erectile symptoms, however, since over a year i cant make any progress in the weight loss department which is totally frustrating me !
now im putting my hopes on pycnogenol and l-arginine, i gonna order Prelox (it consists of these two and is allegeadly clinically proven to work) and when it comes to the sexual department i hope for some slow improvement with it.. im still trying exercising but ive been under quite some stress in past few months and couldnt just find the motivation, energy to do that regularly
i never made any main thread with all info combined cause its a non brainer after years of extremely bad diet, sedentary lifestytle and being overweight, these things should be altered as a first measure against any conditions that result from that
however, I think it's also possible that simply this huge stress contributed or even caused some permanent change in my hormones and even getting the weight in order wont be enough to fully recover
anyway, i dont want to sound like im advertising l-arginine and pycnogenol but i have seen the clinical studies as well as some experieces on message boards and it seems to be working for some guys so i'd rather take it first, before moving to viagra.
only if i take prelox for a while and at least make some progress in cutting weight, and when i still suffer then from a complete lack of morning erections and low libido, will i consult an endo and do the most complex labs possible and seek the best possible treatment
i'd just rather be natural than spend the whole life injecting testosterone and adjusting dosages , monitoring the labs changes etc
ps this forum is interesing, because even people with similar problems, all have different approach to this. Then again, if you've been stuck to your chair, eating pizzas, getting overweight and substituting a relationship with porn, its obvious that you're aware you had it all totally wrong and it requires time to cure yourself. If you've been having a good life, a stable relationship like Tyler81, and a problem with Ed or low hormones, suddenly arised, then its obvious you want an immediate cure and not one taking half a year.
