This thread has reminded me of something I've always wondered about. How come using cards isn't more popular when paying cash for untraceable reloadable/prepaid cards is so easy? Is it because there is still security issues on the sources end because the money is still going into a bank account and could cause suspicions/issues?
I'm not 100% sure if the payment method we use (CirclePay) would allow you to sign up with a prepaid debit card.
On our end we also have a system in place so that the money is never connected between your payment and our bank account.
You don't need prepaids nowadays. They have loadable visas/mastercards that are literally identical to regular debit cards, you just load them with cash at the cashier. I could be wrong though as I have not attempted to use that app. However, in every other capacity (including on tons of apps i use) these reloadables function as normal everyday debit cards.

Not 100% sure exactly what you're getting at about cards. But when it comes to prepaids and BTC...
Most of those cards require you to register before you can use them. Vanilla reload is the only card (that i'm aware of) that doesn't force you to provide all of your personal information before you can use it.
You can't buy BTC with those cards though. They aren't tied to a checking account. i haven't found a single exchange or app (not ripoff peer to peer trading bullshit) that will allow you to use a prepaid card to purchase BTC.
If you or anyone else knows of one, please let me know.
Another thing about prepaid cards is that the vast majority of them do not allow purchases outside the USA, for example using them to pay a source in China directly.
As for prepaids and BTC yes most exchanges (and prepaid card issuers) do not permit them to be used for BTC purchases.

I was speaking to the prepaid/reloadables as a source of using cards for card transactions as I read this source provides an option to just pay with a card.
I’m not suggesting it by any means, as crypto is much safer and easier to use. I just always wondered how it wasn’t as prevalant given the anonymity. But as mindless and yourself suggested it seems to Ben answered by not having the ability to purchase outside of the USA.

Had a look on the Circle FAQ and they explicitly state that they don't accept prepaid cards. It was a sweet idea but a shame it wouldn't work.

I agree the website should not have advertisements (pop ups). Download a pop-up blocker, you should have one for security reasons as well.
