How would one conduct a receptor binding study or test for receptor binding? And functional assays?

It's nerd shit in cell culture studies - 30000 foot view:

The growth hormone receptor is expressed in a cell line and they see if/how the new GH compound binds (&/or competes with native GH if it's supposed to do that)

Functional assay would be measuring something that activating the receptor is supposed to do (this would be their example of a proliferation assay)

Something could bind the wrong spot and pass the binding assay but since it's the wrong spot, it wouldn't activate downstream signaling

Was on serostim for a year plus. Can't handle it cause of the cost out of pocket. Just starts building up too much.

It felt like serostim did have less sides.


IGf1 testing from serostim and QSC HGH was nearly identical.

Ultimately, the cost effectiveness of UGL is great.

Same reasons here. I can afford to do it with pharma GH, however my mind which helped me come to this point where I have that kind of money, tells me there is no reason to overpay for the same result.
