The Nad+ Burn

Let me preface by saying I think I have a pretty high pain tolerance. I gave a natural birth after 3 days of labor, I have tattoos on my inner wrist and ribs(I fell asleep getting the tatt on my ribs). I used to be a cutter. Etc.

And I have to say this nad+ burn is annoying. Subq 50mg done in 25 units on 1ml syringe. Burning lasts a few hours and IS stays sore for about 2 days. No other reactions.

I know some people dilute it more, but here's my question.

Does diluting it more help more vs just diluting less and injecting smaller ?

Example if I double the bac water and inject 50units would that really hurt less than halving the bac water and doing a smaller quick dose of say 10 units or even 5 units?

It's not the ph of the bac water as I used the same water for other peps and zero burn.

Try adding sodium bicarbonate to balance the PH levels. Normal NAD in BAC water comes out approximately 2 PH in testing strips, so a 3:1 ratio of BAC water to sodium bicarbonate should bring it to a 6-7 level. Hope this helps

I been looking into your suggestion and was hoping you could share some more information. I'm assuming you mean injectable sodium bicarbonate and not just baking soda, the injectable which seems to come in a 8.4% solution but also seems to mainly be a vet thing?

This doesn't affect the NAD coenzyme at all?

Any chance you could share a link of the exact product you mean?

Of course, here you go: Sodium Bicarb

It is commonly used in injections across the medical field to aid in PH balancing, and should not affect the NAD molecule at all. I have tried this consistently with every NAD bottle i get and it works like a charm

I take NMN daily, but am interested in NAD+. What benefits are you all getting from it? I’ve read about it but interested in personal takes on it.

Also, super good info about making it without pain.

I'm not sure I'm getting much of anything yet lol. I have chronic fatigue syndrome and arthritis in my thumb on one hand and two middle fingers on my other hand. I'm always willing to try anything to combat the CFS. I have only been on it for 3 weeks. I think somedays I feel a bit more energy and overall less pain in my hands. It has given me a couple nights of insomnia. No cognitive improvement or mental clarity but this was not something I needed help with.

Basically no positive benefits I could confidently solely attribute to the Nads. I understand I may be on a lower dose and once I can get a better handle on the discomfort, I am going to slowly increase my dosage or move to 3x a week.

I also plan to add an 8 week Mots-c cycle to see does anything.

Thank you for the feels report! I feel similarly about taking my nmn. I just do it out of habit and the hope it’s helping the gh burn more fat lol.

Interesting. Nmn does the same for me if I take it past 11 in the morning. Did pinning earlier fix it?

is there a reason to not do NAD+ as a sublingual tincture instead, if the injections are that painful?

I don't do early mornings lol. Typically I get up between 8 and 9 am and usually take the shot anytime between 10am and 12pm depending on work. I did read somewhere that someone took the shot at like 6am and that helped with better sleep. It's just not really an option for me.

sorry im a little confused with this. Ive been having the same issue with the burn. If i add 5ml of bac water to nad 500 vial then how much more SB would i have to add? Thank you...

Sure thing! I’m going to test out a 500mg vial with 1ml of 3:1 solution. That would be .25ml of sb and .75ml of bac. I forgot for a 3:1 ratio there needs to be 4 parts total. Good luck
