The process of an arrest

And I am not saying that refusal is not the right decision in some cases. But I did think they could forceably take blood at the hospital???

They can take blood at the hospital but they need a search warrant in my state.

And never ever ever take a field sobriety test. You are already under arrest by the time he asks you to take it.

This is simply not true.

ya so....I'm gonna go ahead and make it a point not to talk to this guy...[:o)]

Funny Stretch =)

Actually my uncle is one of the biggest supporters of ending prohibition in the USA. After a lifetime he realized that the war on drugs has failed. He does more for changing the laws than anyone I know.

Tell me that aint the pretty damn cool. So he is on our side 100%, trust me. Bro, Milton Friedman was a member of LEAP and a friend of my uncle.

So don't be afraid. Even my dad smoked pot till his dying day. I have always tried to do my part to leverage the laws that exist to my advantage because I feel that too many civil liberties are infringed upon in this country.

Allright, I am gonna go out on a limb here and guess that Billy is a TINY BIT BOTH INTROVERETED AND IDEALISTIC.

I mean no offense, and I appreciate your essence for what it is, So dont take this negqtively...:)

The first BIG Flag I get from you is the dissertation from the B-Law class. EVERYONE knows professors are worthless in the real world. And B-Law is much B SHit WHEN It comes to the way things work in REAL PRACTICE.

First, EVERY STATE is going to be different, period.

Cases/Schmases.. Turned over, what ever. ITS ABOUT $$$$$ Period. So yes, you inject some bones into the community through atty's and that works too. Money talks.... But sometimes badboys will not walk depending on how far removed from society their persona has Become.. IT ALWAYS PAYS to rehad a potential citizen. NO ONE wants to fill jails if you dont have to. It cost a shitpile to do it. Arrests with Convictions DONT help our carreers.....

SHOTS, beers, whatever. I was arrested once leaving a bar after chuggin a couple of pints of heavy beer. Actually 48oz on top of a steady 2 hours session. Not good. I was .16 or something at arrest. I GUARANTEE you I was higher in an hour. Would not have been good had I delayed the test.

Fuck up and THEY - WILL - get you. Period. Pull you off the streets for the period required to protect the good of society at large. Then fine the shit out of your ass for fund the towns, and give you something to think about for a while. It works.

I am older now and dont pull that shit anymore. Society if pretty scary, its a miracle ANYONE makes it...:drooling: We are all a bunch of dumbasses just trying to cut it... Hopefully we can meet some that were like us, so that they will understand and HELP, not PERSECUTE...

I understand and hear you. I haqve been to about 30 of the 50 states and about 8 countries outside the US, so I am familiar with varience in law. BTW that professor you were talking about was an attorney, not a professor. He only did the one class as a favor to the university. This is why he told us to toss our textbooks. So you are wrong in that ... I probably learned more in his clas than any other business class BECAUSE he was the real deal ... but you are correct in that some professors dont have a clue about the real world.

In my state the legal limit is .08 which with the faulty equiptment can put you over with ONE drink. Therefore it is reasonable to assume that waiting for your body to process the drink and have an easy pass on the datamaster downtown is well worth it when you consider that failing the roadside test will cost you 5,000 plus AA meetings for 1 to 2 years, plus jail time and a permanent record. Not to mention insurance rates going sky high.

I don't have a criminal record because I know the laws and I play it smart. For the life of me I cant figure out why anyone would drive with more than 2-3 drinks over a period of 1 to 2 hours. I think drunk drivers who kill people should get life in prision. I don't even drink by the way. I have had the occasional glass of wine in years past, but I don't really like alcohol.

2 years ago I just happen to have a glass or two and then drive over to meet a girl and got pulled over. I was not drunk. But I was not going to have some little unreliable cop black box ruin my life. And no you can't just throw money at the situation. I gave the government 25,000 in taxes last year and I think that's enough. What it cost them to let me go free? priceless... See I did smoke pot at the time and I knew a blood test would bust me. So I played my cards and it cost me a tow and a 30 dollar piss test.

You could not be more wrong about our jail and prision system. There are some good documentaries out there. Our jails and prisons are like businesses that need to grow. The gov't is into filling them, not giving away get out of jail free cards. Land of the free and we have more people in jails and prison than anywhere else on earth. The percentage of Americans that have been arrested at some point dwarfs any other percentage from any other country.

Realistic is more like it. Why do you think Millard Baker posted those links regarding the faulty roadside testing equiptment? It's math geeks like me who figure out just how cheap and unreliable devices can be without people realizing that they are getting fucked. It was no accident, trust me.

And if you want to see my introverted side why dont you come up to Legends Casino in Yakima, WA this October. You will get to see what the inside of an octagon looks like. Not to fight, that would not be fair. I mean you could watch me in action and hang with the crew.

Well I figured so much. It almost like I can see people through the key strokes. Perhaps we can write a software package that profiles to the face based on grammer and syntax[:o)]

WHile the atty may practice in real life. He is also not giving away the store. ALSO, people have a funny way about hipocracy, and how they involve it in their lives. Do you really think that he is going to tell you how $$CASH$$ makes the world go round. How the "incentive"/kickback system REALLY works?! So I propose that he likes to dabble with this class for more than the obvious reason. He probably gets in there, reads the text, laughs to himself, and then slips back into the idealistic goodwilled characture he was as a young man. Paving the way for fine young folks to hit the real world completely BASS-ACKWARDs as did he. A fantasy for an hour a week if you willl...... EVERYTHING boils down to $$$.. And yes, you are throwing $$ at the situation. Thats called hiring the BEST atty. Definition of "BEst atty": The one connected enough to associate socially on a very trusted level with his peers and thus exchange CASH. Thats why the cost a forture. Thats why MANY dont even know where to find them. Its a reference only program usually. $$membership$$ has its privileges....:D Further, you mentioned "arrests". An arrest leading to fine payment, and a PRISON sentance, and 2 totally different things. Out legal system is pretty fucked regarding users, in some states more than others. We are still burning witches for sure. Fair play exists in many cases. FAIR judges know who is who and can tell the difference in someone who likes to burn a joint on the couch in their own home, and the other guy that is smoking his supply. There is also more information collected on individuals than many realize I think. They already KNEW who you were before you even landed before the judge. You just have to hope you have done nothing more than to motivate them to know your voting status....

An engineer perhaps???? Corps?

You can request to be re-tested in jail with the BIG UNIT.... Why then is no one questioning this black box?? Cause they know they were fucked up.....

You talk about knowing the law to CYA, and then you dont even drink? I have met LE like that. It blows my mind. There is nothing wrong with abstaining from alcohol I guarantee. I just find it interesting that they can not relate. Not good or bad. Just interesting. The ones I met were objective and understood the nature of the social problem. They did not seem to be personal with it/ Why? Cause they got their ideals slapped shitless by the first judge that let their first arrest off "easy" due to the $$$legal$$" Process. So they would not still be in LE if they did not get over the personal conceptions....

Prison is NOT a lucrative system I assure you. With that kind of propaganda in yur head, you have to be frontline LE!![:o)] It cost like 50K year to house people. FYI, the country is BROKE...

Finally, with your legal knowledge, then I am sure you are aware a street cop does not even have to register the min .08 to arrest you for DWI/DUI. If there is ANY there, he can determine that it has adversely affected you and take you on down. Then its up to the judge. Not the .08 documented figure...... A DWI/DUI can be issued for many things ( marijuana, cough syrup, anti-dpressants, valium, too much water if you cant drive straight). So what were you pulled over for anyway?

Finally, you are correct in your assumption that I am not a trained fighter, nor do i do it for a living or as a hobby. While there is nothing like a good fight "to keep your rhile up", past 25 is just no good as we are not longer made of rubber. So thats why so many americans carry guns i guess:rolleyes:. But I am interested. Your career and what you do now exactly? That sounds like a higher profile evening fighting in that casino??

y the way. I have children now. I cant stand the thought of some asshole running over someones kids, as I know I would go insane... So what to do? Pehaps they should have just chosen opiates back in the 20's I think. I really dont understand the logic. OH, I KNOW. When they voted, the drunks were all rhiled up and threatening to kick the asses of the opiate opposition, who was just laid back chillin. Go figure....

Peace be with you as well my botha.

You know BBC3 I always enjoy your posts because you "think" different than most people. I assumed that this your brand of wisdom. Sometimes I disagree with some of your posts, but that's why I like to read them....because it gets me going.

I was pulled over for making a right turn into the second (or outside lane). I knew the road well and the inside land only goes for about 100 yards and ends, so there really is no point in turning into it unless you are going to the mexican food place on the corner. Everyone does it and it was a bull shit excuse for pulling me over. It was just late at night, so the cop prob had nothing better to do. He could smell the wine but I was way under the limit, I was just not going to take a chance....because if that little black box had said I was over, then I would have lost my custody case for my two sons....I just was not going to take any chances. I was scared, and I fell back on the advice of this attorney.

The attorney really did teach me a ton of stuff like how to settle land disputes between neighbors, and many other "common" things that we as students would be likely to run into in the real world. IMO he did me a solid. Now in my MBA classes businesss law deals with tort law and liability, and all sorts of stupid shit like copyright laws. For any company that I have worked for we use the legal team, so trying to deep dive into this abyss seems futile, so that is perhaps why I enjoyed the attorney who actually impacted my personal life.

As far as what I do... Well I work with senior management and executives for fortune 100 companies as a sort of "messenger." I used my mathematics, statistics, economics, and MBA degrees with a whole lot of IT to start what is now referred to as Business Intelligence. I basically figure out the true raw data for a company and turn it into an executive level crystal ball that allows the company leaders to make more solid business decisions. I broke into the six figure salary range by the age of 27 and I am now 35.

In college I partied hard. I drank and did drugs. Later with the stress of work and family (by the way I have two sons, 9 and 11), I realized that the alcohol and drugs were taking away everything that I loved in my life. I was able to work, but I was not able to keep my wife from leaving. I started slipping in health related areas. So I cleaned my act up and decided that if I do want to have a wife and family that respect me I had to cut that shit out. If I wanted to accomplish my bodybuilding goals I had to cut that shit out. So I went to rehab twice and AA meetings and finally broke the chain. That is why I don't drink or do drugs any more, okay?

BTW the devices used by cops are getting more and more press as being unreliable measurements for BAL. My example was purely to demonstrate how to minimize risk, which by the way corrolates with my work.

Just because I an a geek at work and pay more in taxes than some people make in a year does not mean that I did not come from good roots. I grew up on a ranch. We raised bulls. We cut down trees for wood to heat our home. In the winter I had to dig through 6' snow drifts to drag 50 gallon buckets of water 200 yards to the barn for the animals. By the time I would return the water would be gone. I know what it means to be "grounded and pounded" by having a beast that weighs as much as a truck nearly take my life on several occasions. I bucked 135 lb hay bales for 10 years to pay my way through school. Every Summer I would have 40 blisters (20 on each hand) and my hands would be stained black. So as far as tough goes, I dont buy that BS about it's all over after age 25. Look at Randy Coutoure he is 47 and still kickin ass.

what are you afraid of?

Yes I compete and yes a lot of guys who compete juice. Have you not noticed some of those animals and thought to yourself, "that bro is beyond naturally built"

I don't have a lot of time to train full time so I often have to play "catch up" Many of the fights are not sanctioned UFC events and they don't even give you any sort of test. My thoughts would be that it is due to the cost of testing.

Regardless, I prepare, then PCT, then later fight. I don't want to get busted for cheating and I don't want to cheat. I dont see what's wrong if your system is clean or if the event does not require testing for AAS. If I could train all year then that would be fine with me. I just have to spend 50 hours a week in an office. See I already make more than I ever would as a UFC champion and at my age the chances are slim (age 35) so for me this is a hobby. Some film to show the grandkids.

My last fight was out of my weight class. He was a professional boxer 6' 2" and 240 lbs while I was about 6' and 215 lbs. I was 100% clean. We went the full three rounds and he won by decision. I'd say that takes guts. I'd say it means I'm not afraid of anything.

Well, boxing is the only sport-fighting experience that I have. But I do have a lot of friends who currently compete in MMA, and they all do so naturally. They are the reason that I have such strong feelings about this topic.

Because of my involvement with AAS it should make sense that initially I attempted to persuade my friends to use anabolics to enhance their performance. I knew very well that the local, somewhat disorganized shows, do not test for anabolics. But after seeing my friends turn down the help I offered (cheap, effective gear, and the knowledge to use such to gain a pronounced advantage over competition) and instead work their FUCKING ASSES OFF in order to be FAIR and still compete at a high level. The attraction boxing had for me was the fact that it was a single player sport. No teams. No coaches. You v. opponent. That's it.

I LOVE IT.

I love it because winning a competition which is one on one instead of a team sport is the single greatest sporting experience I have ever known. There is just something different about it that I can't explain.

I feel as though CHEATING would take something away from that.

I mean, why don't you just get an illegal tape job??

Or fuck it, just drop a horseshoe in the glove like bugs bunny.

The point is you are cheating. MAYBE that big ass boxer WASN"T cheating. And maybe you just CHEATED him out of a K.O. or submission victory...Maybe he wanted to show his fight videos to his grand kids and you just fucked his video up because you got an unfair advantage which he didn't have BECAUSE HE"S NOT A CHEATER.

So from your response to my post, I guess you are afraid of the fact that because you don't have the time necessary to train as much as other guys, because you work a real job, and as you say "mma is only a hobby" you won't be able to compete at a level which will satisfy either YOU, or the audience. Fair enough, AND understandable.

But a spade is a spade.
I'm not involved, I don't hate you for using. I just want to break you and anyone else out of their little fantasy world where because of ______ (insert justification here) it's not cheating for THEM to use.

How is it cheating when you don't have AAS in your system at the time of a fight? How is it cheating when they don't tell you that you can't do it?

I have never been in a cage all juiced up. You have a problem with what exactly? Two guys fighting who both test clean. God only know what supplements they took while training, but inside the ring/octagon all you have is two fighters. Some of these guys go out drinking beer and smokin weed. Are they cheating or afraid? I'm not understanding what advantage you think someone has when they test clean.

Many of the best MMA fighters come out of my state (WA). I know quite a few of them personally. All of them would say to me to just ignore the ignorant, because you get all kinds of people throwin out their opinion about this highly controversial sport. I'm not going to get bummed out when my mom says, "IT'S A TERRIBLE SPORT FOR ANIMALS, NOT REAL MEN" and I'm not going to get bummed when someone else tells me, "I'm a coward and a cheater" when I know for a fact that the majority of MMA fighters use some sort of supplement that could potentially be banned or get them disqualified if still in their system on contest day.

IMO its the real man who takes care of his family first, and his interests second. It's a real man (not a coward) who is actually stepping into the ring/octagon. The coward is the one who likes to watch and thow out advice from the bench. And as far as cheating? I have broken no rule as of yet, so I am no cheater. I'm sorry I don't have a rich daddy to pay for my MMA lessons and fly me around. I'm sorry that I'm not some white trash mother fucker who has nothing better to do with his time than train all day.

How I work is effecient, not cowardly or cheating. I have TOTAL respect from all my MMA bros, not only for how hard I train, but how I treat people with kindness and respect. And that boxer you say I jipped? He has asked me to prep him for his next fight. Since we have had 3 fights (two before I ever juiced at all) I think I have given him plenty of opportunity to get a KO. So far I have one win and he has two, none by KO. I'm the only one crazy enough to sparr with this animal who has two inches and up to 40 lbs on me, and that is why I get respect from other MMA fighters, even professional UFC fighters that I'm sure you have seen on TV.

The final point is that you don't know what the fuck you are talking about. You should be more cautious before calling people names when you really don't know the facts. I have no right to call you an alcoholic after you mention that you have a beer in one of your posts. That would be ignorant and rude. If you have a problem with me then I invite you to settle it in the traditional manner like men in the ring, rather than throwing out names and insults over the internet. You can juice all you want. I will provide tests showing no AAS or other substances. Since you are an experienced boxer and have so many "real deal" MMA friends then you should have little trouble getting prepared.

Just for sport. Ref and everything. You can cheat all you want. I will be totally clean as always. So are you a coward? Or do you not need to cheat, will you just go clean because of your passion for purity? What's the call Stretch?

You could apologize ... or you could just tell me to fuck off ... we could stay associates on this forum ... or ther could be the beginings of a rivalry ... we both add value to this forum, so I believe that it's lame when bros start throwin out bad vibes in threads because of some issue they have. I'm no cheater and your comments were out of line. I work just as hard or harder than anyone; and I earn my victories.

So you are selling customized "actuary in a box" huh.....:D

I am always happy to stimulate...:) Well I did not say there was anything wrong with no drugs or alcohol. I sometimes wonder> I jsut cant get past the few beers to relax. perhaps a phase ...

A always heard peanut butter, pennies, and tobacco. I know smokeless tabacco will mask the smell of alcohol pretty well to the nose. But it wont fool anything. I once heard a penny or two could spoof it, obviously never tried. And something about peanut butter.

I dont doubt there are flaws with machines. I take your point.....:)

My comments were my opinions. They were not out of line, and none of them were directed at you. I never called you a coward so don't misquote me. You got butt hurt because you don't like the truth which isn't my fault.

I'll bitch slap you any time you want, but since you take the EVER OPPORTUNITY to flaunt your economic success, you have to promise not to sue me for the ass whoopin...cheater.

Your boyish challenge to a fight after I asked.."what are you afraid of" was extremely juvenille, and you should feel embarassed that you had such a crazy, high-drama response.

--"don't call me names!!!"-- I never called you a coward, but now I will call you a name....and it fits....

If you two fight, you have to post it in the videos forum :D

I'm down. I'll pay for the hi-def video footage. Anywhere in the pacific NorthWest, preferably Seattle. I'll provide all the gear, tape, mouthgard for Stretch. All he has to do is show up. Everthing will be legal, and I'll have waivers for us both to sign.

But be warned, I normally I go for choke holds and arm locks...this time I will be goin for blood. It will make the footage a legend here on Meso. lol

I've been training hard for 6 months, and I am 4 weeks away from finishing the biggest cycle of my life, so if Stretch wants to wait for me to be clean, I understand.

Name the date Stretch, or leave me alone.

bwahahahahaha[:o)][:o)]

by the swings....before recess and right after we take our nap, you pathetic 12 year old clown....

I live 15min from downtown Detroit, the last thing I would EVER do is leave my home to fuck w/some dumb-ass accountant who's going through his mid-life crisis which caused him to get all offended that I offered MY OPINION of his anabolic use. You are obviously a scared little bitch BJ or you wouldn't have tried to jump all over me, almost without provocation. I wasn't confrontational or rude with my posts...not originally...anyways...i don't need the mouth guard my four front teeth are fake already, so we're cool...I've never been accused of running or being scared, but I don't leave home to quiet down, loud mouthed bitches....it'd be a full time.

You ever get a reason to come to Michigan, and I'll give you a good reason not to come back.......cheater.

Your words are meaningless to me because I realized that you are uneducated. I should have known that it is near impossible to have an argument with an ignorant person. You only know how to quarrel. When I state "ignorant" I do not mean that as an insult, only a condition.

But the simple truth is that billydidit called Stretch out and he was too scared to back up his shit talk. If I were you I'd be scared of me too Stretch. Now everybody on Meso knows that you are all talk. You are prob some skinny little thing and that's why you don't have a pics of yourself. Don't worry bro, a lot tougher guys than you have backed down so don't feel bad.

Sorry that you are jealous of the fact that I spent 10 years of my life bucking 135lb hay bales to pay my own way through school. Sorry you can't handle that I made something out of my life. I'm done talking to you. Leave me alone.
