well guys I’m here because I need some advice on training

I’m curious about how you go about getting your lifts up. Like if you train low weight high reps one week then next week you go high weight low reps.

When you guys do drop sets on bench let’s say do you drop 5lb every time or 10lb every time or drop 20lb.

Or do you guys just go balls to the wall till failure on every set, most likely not if natty I know. Just curious about how some people on this board train as far as reps how many sets also there overall organization of training like how often they switch up exercises how many exercises for each body part. Thank you in advance for any answers.

Well at the moment I’m aiming for fat loss and I’m gonna be there for a while. I was mainly curious about how you all train for size and strength gains. But I guess while I’m on the subject of fat loss I guess I am also curious how I should be training if I’m at a caloric deficit and trying to loose weight.

Fasted cardio, HIIT training, and LISS. Keep switching it up and keep your calories at a deficit.

If you to build strength and have huge lifts you're not going to get it doing drop sets...

Heavy ass weights, low reps in most cases, under 6....Stick to heavy compound movements and when you find a weakness start using accessory work to fix it..

Pick a program and go with it... Some of the standards out there are 5x5, 5/3/1, starting strength... Endless possibilities really.

Hypertrophy is moderate /heavy weight in the 8-12, or sometimes higher rep ranges.

Its hard to maintain or gain strength on a cut, as bodyweight gives you leverage and makes you stronger. That's why WSM competitors are giants weighing 300-400lbs...

I guess I’m mainly interested in hyphertrophy then I would like to work on strength as well but I’m mainly into physique atm or trying at least. I know I won’t be able to gain anything on this cut. But if I want to get into hyphertrophy 8-12 reps, let me ask is doing 15-20 reps a bit more beneficial or better to stay around 8-12.
