so i have used whatman bottle tops, whatman syringe filters and naglene bottle tops and now ive used autofill bottle tops with receiver bottle

I found the autofill amazing, filter quick and was so easy to use, 17psi and it was trickling thru a great pace. Also the reciever bottle is a thick plastic which i dont feel is prone to cracking like ive read about the millipores.

Naglene came a good second in my opinion. Whatmans i just didnt rate for the simple fact that they dont screw to the reciever bottle made me nervous about it falling off and losing my liquid gold.

I would recommend trying autofills once to see how you feel and no im not a shill just lonely un-exprienced homebrewer :) image.jpg

aren't you supposed to ditch the plastic receiver bottle and use glass bottles due to the solvents digging into the plastic and risking of diluting toxins in your solution?

Gotcha. How about vacuum pressure? Are u using a hand pump? Do u pre filter before going into the bottle top?
I am asking because I am interested on this myself!
Thanks

Yeh i used a hand pump for bleeding breaks, no prefilter at all mate, using MCT as carrier which is generally thin.
I had the pressure around 15-17psi. Like i said earlier the receiver bottle seems like thick plastic so i dont think it will be to prone to cracking

Your doing testE little solvents are used.
Different hormones where more BB is used
Guiacol
EO.
Your filter will not be so friendly.

No

Not if your just filtering straight carrier for storage

Just test E mate :) MCT carrier
that oil looks beautiful, i used safflower oil last time, but am going to try cocunut mct tonight. my saff. batch was flawless though, so really no point in switching, but just want to try something different. everyone is converting to mct...
