Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC)

The only BAD aspect, is that you need a known good quality compound run on the same plate. However you could obtain pure compounds, run it once, take a picture and then just run the test batches and compare.

I've seen TLC kits for sale on the internet around $30-$40. They include the solvents and plates used - and everything else. I remember doing TLC in chemistry class - and it can be a pain in the dick to get it right, but isn't too hard to learn. We put black ink on the test plate and watched it separate into different colored compounds using TLC. Pretty cool stuff.

This is cool stuff , very interesting. The only problem with it I see is getting a good standard. Once you have a good standard for the compound it seems you could use this technology very inexpensively.

would it require the standard in raw form, or could you use watson test cyp for example

Watson test cyp. would work for any ugl test cyp. I would think I'm not sure how different carrier oils and concentration of solvents would affect the results of this test though.

Come to think of it with this sort of rudimentary test you might have to compare apples to apples for instance same carrier oil same concentration of solvents and hormone. I'm not really sure I'd love to see what someone more versed in chemistry would have to say on this.

But with raw powders, wouldn't it be possible to define a standard procedure including the exact same equipment, and then only one person would need to get a reference sample and post the pictures online?

Though perhaps that would have to include same room temperature, humidity, etc, which would be beyond the capabilities of most.

By the way, a vis+uv spectrophotometer from China is only around $450 new on ebay these days. Would they be useful with the proper training?

Yep, and there's a market opportunity here for a driven entrepreneur. Sell such standardized TLC kits on ebay!

Then the cops can bust anybody who buys them...

If you put together a kit for testing raws with this technology along with standard pics for each raw I'm sure that someone could make quite a bit of $ online with it.

My Idea is to not make a buck, but to put the tools into peoples hands to keep their bodies safe. The government thinks they are keeping the country safe by scheduling AAS, but they are merely hurting the public. There is nothing wrong or evil about AAS. Safer than tobacco, alcohol, or marijuana, or even driving a motor vehicle.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with making profit off of an idea especially if it's an idea that makes people safe. We have to fight this idea that somehow it's evil to make profit that's Marxist bullshit!
