Think I fucked up....pissed at myself..

Health to you my friend. But I always like that you look at everything positively and with humor. This always makes people happy.
Thanks man! I am back to normal thankfully. No more headache, all concussion symptoms are gone. Super relieved. The last few days of finishing it up have been like working in hell. Literally 95 and humid and sunny. I have had to hamg my shorts to dry from the sweat, it's like working in a sauna while it's on...for 7-8 hours straight until I collapse of heat exhaustion.

So these chickens better like their new coop! after all the suffering I went through to build it they better show some gratitude lol. By that I mean give me many many of the most delicious eggs for long time to come ;)

@pahick hows the elbow?

I've had fucking tennis elbow for almost a year now. It's really fucked up my lifting. I am finally in PT though with a PT that has agreed to do ultrasound therapy. I was almost ready to just buy an ultrasound machine off ebay and learn how to do it myself. I am hoping the increased blood flow and whatnot will significantly help the healing. I am planning to pin BPC-157 into my elbows right before my session too. I just want this shit to get better as that is really the only thing holding me back then I can get my lifts back up and re-gain some of the muscle I have lost especially in my arms.

Hope you're doing well buddy. Elbow issues fucking blow. You really do need your elbows for a lot of stuff! Hopefully you can still jerk off with your other hand lmao

@MFAAS No problem jerking off, im right handed lol.

Doc called noon with MRI results. Now I have 3 tears in tendons. 1st was Supraspinatus tendon 2nd was Proximal Biceps tendon, now I have a small tear in the Teres Minor tendon. His initial assessment was to tell me to slow the hell down...in a not really nice way LOL But he said hes happy with the way PT was going, and until he can consult the PT to continue the appointments with her. He is still adamant it shouldnt require surgery. He is concerned that if I dont slow down and protect the shoulder while building the surrounding muscle that I will require surgery. So hes getting a game plan together to 1 continue PT and 2 either modified work schedule or time off.

I know if im off WC will pay me, but I cant afford to be off right now. Long story.

Elbow was perfect, all the weight was directed at the shoulder.

Hey MFAAS!
l bought an ultrasound machine and a magnetic field unit a 5-6 weeks ago to try and help a serious shoulder injury that has kept me from doing any upper body stuff for more than 9 months. The ultrasound is so easy to use you just put a nice amount of ultrasound gel on the area your going treat, set your timer and settings hit the start button and keep the head moving slowly at all times until treatment finishes. l would get one if l was you because they are useful for so many different injuries, and compared to the cost of seeing a PT they will pay for them self in a few visits, and you have got the machine for life. The only thing that can really go wrong with them is the diode in the head, which can burn out if you let the head get to hot by not using enough gel. lf you decide to get one you want a unit that is 1Mhz with continuous and pulsed setting. The 3Mhz function some of them have is useful for surface or skin treatment and not needed for injuries. lf you wanted help with settings and time frames for certain injuries l could also help you with that.

What great news, two good news. I am glad that the feeling of investment has come and you can live in a high again.
The chicken coop is very cool, I think now the eggs will be super tasty.

I appreciate it very much! You are right is probably worth it to just get one. They are really useful for so many injuries. I already am lucky enough to have an UltraMIST Therapy Machine, which I got for free (got them connections in the med-tech industry). It uses a low-frequency vibrating head to ionize sterile water onto the site of injury. I have noticed DRASTICALLY improved healing with surface wounds. It's honestly crazy...a cut that would normally take 2 weeks to heal will be closed up in like 5 days. I've also had it reduce scarring. I used it on my surgical sites when I had my umbilical hernia surgery and my gyno surgery and both have NO scarring, both times the doctor commented on how I must have really good genetics to have no scarring like that. Regardless, it doesn't help with deep tissue, non surface wounds.

I may scoop up an ultrasound machine and PM you for some advice on how to use it. I think it would be well worth it. I'm curious, how many times per week would you recommend treating a given injury? Or does it depend on the injury? I feel like just doing it once per day would be fine and shouldn't cause any problems. The increased blood flow would likely improve healing, especially to things like tendons and ligaments that don't get much blood flow compared to muscles and your penis (zing!)

Right now I am sitting with a heating pad on my arm because my elbows are so fucking sore (likely from all the manual labor of building my new chicken coop/run, but usually it isn't sore when I wake up even if I went hard the day before...but I've been going especially hard lately as we needed to finish up that damn coop so it would be livable for our chickens!

So, just to recap:
- How often would you treat a tendon injury? Would that differ for things like muscular strains or ligament injuries or whatever?
- Is there a difference between an ultrasound imaging machine and an ultrasound therapy machine? Or is it just the settings they use?
- Any recommendations on a good one? Price is not an issue for me at all. I always go for quality and something that will last vs cheaper and less durable. I can and will do research too. But an curious if you have any recommendations.

These a broad answers to your questions. l can give you more detailed answers down the track as needed.
Ultrasound imaging machines are diagnostic machines that produce high-frequency sound waves that bounce around and produce an image. They still use ultrasonic gel and probe but produce images, example ultrasounding a pregnant ladies belly, diagnosing an injury or a tumor.
Therapeutic ultrasounds use an even higher frequency sound wave that causes heat deep in the tissues.

Most injuries once a day treatment is all that is usually needed. For how long depends on the injury.
Tendon or ligament injuries the pulsed setting would be used, for muscle injuries the continuous setting would be used. Time and watts/sq cm would depend on the injury. All these settings l can help you with when l know what injury your treating.
As for purchasing a machine l am unsure of the quality of the cheap ones from lndia on E-bay, but would be doubtful of their quality due to there price.
l bought a medical grade one here in Australia for $700 off someone l know who makes them for the medical field and horse and greyhound racing trainers. It is a top notch machine.
l will contact him and see if he can recommend anyone in the US.
l am like you l always buy quality.
Hope l covered everything for you.

Fuck yeah man you rock. If you do find any recommendations I would love to get them, I am going to be doing some research and plan to pull the trigger as soon as I can figure out a good one to buy. I'll also reach out to my med tech buddy and see if he can hook me up at all.
