Those of you on prescribed TRT…..

A little over a year ago I posted some bloodwork on 200mg of test C pinning once a week and I came back pretty low testosterone numbers and high estrogen. Had some good advice from people to try to pin more often instead of just once a week. I now pin test C every day sub q or EOD sub q.

I actually do 150mg a week now and came back with higher testosterone numbers and lower estrogen and feel great.

Anyway, I am using stanfords test and while it’s great, my wife and I are fortunately at a point in our lives we are able to travel more often for a week or more at a time. It would be nice to actually have a prescription for Testosterone so I can bring it with me instead of 2-3 times a year having to take one 150mg shot before we leave for a week.

While I realize there will be a “premium” for getting a prescription, I refuse to pay $200+ a month at one of those clinics when I get my entire year supply for less than that. My question is, is going to your primary care doctor really that much cheaper? I’ve been looking around at local pharmacies that display their prices and it seems they are expensive as hell too. Just curious if there’s anything I’m missing on how to get this done cheaper?

Also, I’m not expecting this to be the same price as buying underground, before everyone roasts me on that lol.

There's really not a "premium" unless you go to a bougee clinic. A lot are pay as you need. You'll have obligatory bloodwork and initial Dr fees every year but then you just pay for your test and ancillaries. Usually comes to ~$100/ month when you average it out. Going thru your PCP you better have some major debilitating effects of low T. 9/10 PCP won't prescribe due to 1. Ignorance/Lack of knowledge 2. Insurance. Probably the latter first. With those clinics you get a legal prescription for testosterone you can go thru any customs/airports/etc, legal 100%

In my experience, getting test prescribed by my GP so I can go through insurance is a challenge. They want you to test below 200 multiple times before having a conversation. Online clinics usually run around $100/month and the start up is cheaper if you have recent blood-work.

Interesting, I’ll have to talk to them about pay as I need. I’ve talked to a couple in my area and they all seem to do a bit of a “one size fits all” approach that’s 200mg a week, an a.i, and a form of hcg. I don’t want to have to take an a.I on trt lol

I figured going through a primary would be a bitch, I also figured even if prescribed they’d tell me I need 75mg a week or something lol

When going through online clinics, do you happen to know if I’ll need to “crash” my test levels for the bloodwork before they’d give me a script? Because the ones local to me will pretty much write you a script as long as you pay them from my understanding lol

Your local clinics if they are like mine will be higher and have monthly premiums, I'm at TRT Nation, there's nothing they don't do the local clinics do unless you need your butt wiped every time you need a shot. AI is individual dependent and dose dependant as well. You want and need estrogen. Just have to go by feels and lab work.

Yeah my estrogen stays around 40 on 150mg of test C a week without an a.I. I feel great with this so I’d like to stay around there obviously.

If you don’t mind me asking, do they send you a regular 10ml type vial, or is it the little ampules? Just pinning everyday ampules are obviously not ideal.

You can snag a 10ML vial of Test C for just $23.42 with a free GoodRx coupon, no insurance needed. That's enough for 13 weeks if you're doing 150 mg per week, so it's pretty budget-friendly. The tricky part is getting a prescription, especially if you're currently using stuff from UGL. If you've got a chill doctor and some old test results showing low levels, you might have a shot at getting it legit. But be warned, a lot of docs are wary of prescribing testosterone if they think you're using UGL, as they might guess you're just trying to get it for a cycle. A good move is to check out local men's health groups on Facebook or Reddit. You could stumble upon someone who knows a doc that's more open to prescribing it.

ASSUMING IN YOU ARE IN THE US.

Have you done that? Most clinics prescriptions do not cross over to your "local" pharmacy. They usually require a "local" Dr. Rx. That's the catch with the clinics.

Good lord brother. Use Defy Medical. No monthly fee. Bloodwork twice a year. Request a hand written script for bloodwork so you can use your insurance. Then there’s a consultation after your bloodwork and that’s $90

So $180 per year plus the cost of bloodwork and pharama Test. That is attractive. I am with Matrix. It is not crazy expensive but not cheap. About $70 a

You got it. Someone here turned me on to them. They’re fantastic. They also give a referral fee for any new customers you bring

Any chance the offer TRT+? Seeing some clinics still offering Nandrolone Deconate and Oxyandrolone. Without much problems getting a legit script (at highway robbery prices though.)

Isnt the issue with these online TRT docs that they force you to use their pharmacy that up charges you 5x for test? Do any of the TRT clinics write you a script you can fill at a local pharmacy?

Or I guess you could get the script, never order through them, and just travel with the script and UGL test?

I go to sports endo, required visit once every 6 months.

$35 doctor fee through insurance, his cash price no insurance is listed right on the wall and it's $165.
$9 dollars monthly for Test. if you can get a pharmacy to do 10ml it'll be even cheaper, sadly I only get 1 ml vials so 9 dollars for 4 1ml vials. When I first got on TRT I had cvs giving me 10ml vials WEEKLY on a technicality that the rubber stopper was a one time use and my script was for 10ml vials lol I miss it so much..

Most of the time unless you go to a test clinic, max your gonna get is 200mg/wk. Im on 160mg/wk but I get 1ml/200mg vials so I do 200mg/wk and just do a really long trough to get low test, last one I did a 9 day trough to get a slightly under 800 test reading.

I don't believe thats how it works, Ive never seen anyone have just a "script", it's on the test or product when you get it. You could do one order then stop and use that box for some time but if anyone (traveling Ive never had anyone open my test bag) opens it and reads its long dated.. no idea what would happen then.

no online clinic is giving you a script for a pharmacy, at least I couldn't find one if there is one, I wanted that juicy TRT+ those mfers are on (heard rumors of some on 400mg/wk which is stupid lol) but I don't like the compound places they use. There's a local trt clinic in FL that does pharmacy scripts but you have to be local.

Yes they offer both. All you have to do is tell them you’d like to try it
