Over 20 years ago, MESO-Rx published one of its very first original articles. The topic was creatine.

The MESO-Rx original article was written by Dr. Richard Kreider whose research team was the first to study the effects of creatine in athletes.

The article is dated. There has been so much research since then. But take a look and let me know what you think.

I started taking creatine when I was about 15 years old... Getting close to 20 years ago now. It was the only thing that stopped me from getting dbol, I was hell bent on getting my hands on some of that as a teenager.

I vividly remember my parents, doctors and friends telling me to stay away from it. In their defense, not a lot was known about it back then... And my friends chalked it up to essentially being a steroid, but they also called protein powder a steroid so I knew they weren't any help for info. It was a kind of controversial supplement.

It was clear how useful it was to me right off the bat based on the strength increase I got from it... So I couldn't have cared less about anyone telling me to stop taking it. I seemed to have had a knack for strength compared to my peers, despite being a moron, and I don't doubt that the creatine was doing some of the lifting.

Most of the info I ever found back then was looking limited to advertisements for fucking Cell Tech, of which I consumed a lot of. Even as a teen I was determined to find info to prove people wrong. 20 years later, if you search creatine and you'll be fucking inundated with studies. I guess it's too late to prove people wrong but it's awesome to see none the less.

Of course, I used creatine back in its early days. Everyone in my gym was having great results. So I tried it it. I was inconsolably disappointed to learn that I was one 5% of creatine users that researchers described as "non-responders":eek:
