Thyroid and T Question

No to the question. As I raised my hgh, my tsh got better even though the dose of armour remained constant. This was a slow phenomenon. I have been taking all three for over a year. I'm using a half grain of armour.

Ok, so your dosage remained the same regardless of how much T you are taking.

I am on 2 grains now and feeling like crap. I was always on 2.5 and felt great. I want to go back up but I heard that going up on T levels would make your Thy med more effective and cause Hyper symptoms. I didn't believe it and wanted some clarification on that. I will start to move up on my dose today.

I had been on T gels in the past and never experienced any change in Thy med.

Thanks greatly appreciated

TRT generally increases the thyroid binding globulin, so, hypothyroidal individuals they may not be able to generate the extra thyroid to restore free levels.

The important thing, in all cases, is to monitor FREE hormone levels.

Swale

So in essence, they may need more Thyroid meds. Is that a correct interpretation of your post. Your reply would be so appreciated.

My T4 free is 1 range .8-1.8 I was laways at 1.4
T3 Free is 302 range 230-420 median is 325

I see these as somewhat low. Would you be in agreement?

The thing that is perplexing my wife and i, is that I am sweating so much for no reason.keeping me up at night.

I know this is a symptom of HyperThyroid but I believe it can be from THT also. I went from 1 1/2 Testim to 2 Androgel. My doc said it was a comprable dose.

Thanks you so much for your consideration and reply.

What is the effect of HGH on Thyroid hormones?

I have read on other boards that T3 supplementation was necessary when taking exogenous HGH as the HGH depressed levels.
