normal tsh high t3 uptake low total t4. on 4 iu mauve top batch 85 for a couple weeks and trt. did t3 for a show almost two years ago if that matters. thinking i just need to throw in some t4? or dont mess with it if tsh is normal?

That looks like a textbook GH-thyroid reaction.

Pretty much what Bumpygooch said.

Fairly textbook for a GH run at 4iu
You take a bit more of a t4 hit than I do.
But it's still not crazy, I typically up my T4 by 50mcg when I do a GH run
But I'm Dependant ln thyroid pills.
So no harm to me.
I remember @Mighty-mouse doing a bunch of testing and can probably be more of a help than I am for guys with functioning thyroids

Yes this is what will happen with your thyroid converting T4 - to T3 at an accelerated pace.

4 iu I take 75mcg and it keeps me in the normal range and T3 in the high range

I don't see the need in taking anything, it will simply get back to normal in a few weeks without the need of taking any thyroid medications.

My coach is highly respected in the fitness industry, he’s ifbb pro and knows his shit..

i m on 2 + 2ius of HGH and take 50mcg T4 after first meal

what kind of HGH are you running? Just out of curiosity

What is the purporse of taking the T4 after meal? T4 should be taking in fasted state for max absorption. Even more when the half life of T4 is like a week, so it does not kick in as quick as T3, therefore makes no sense taking it in the morning or after a meal regarding the blood levels. It takes time to saturate and stabilize T4 levels and TSH.

How would it return to baseline if he continues with GH?
Because the body regulate itself run HGH for more then 6 weeks and run blood after 2 weeks and then after 6 weeks and you will see your thyroid will come back normal.

Plenty of ppl here can tell you this,
@mands as stated it plenty of time, he ran T4 in the past just the first 4 weeks it doesn't anymore. You don't need to run T4 for your whole HGH cycle

i don’t know, prev cycle that wasn’t biking but recomp I was on 3.3iu pre cardio upon waking and I had to take 50mcg of T4 pre bed..

Now it’s 2+2 ius schedule and he told me to take T4 after first meal... don’t know why

Me and @mands tested this theory with me pulling bloodwork 12 weeks straight and it did come back to normal low but dropped off the next blood test.

The reason you want to take T4 is to keep T3 elevated as much as possible to keep your metabolism elevated during your growth run.

I have several test proving running T4 is beneficial if you intend to help lose BF. Taking growth without T4 is like getting only 75% of your money worth of growth

Edit- as with any hormone or organ what works for one person might not work for the next

The reason is absorption. On a full stomach the hormone could get absorbed and not passed through system. Like iron and other drugs docs tell people to take on empty stomach.

Even though T4 is dosed from 25- 150mcg I believe when a doc prescribes it to you he should also set a follow up apt to see if he needs to adjust because even on an empty stomach your body will not consume the whole dose some will pass through system and even more when food is in stomach.

What do you think about the fact he told me to take it before bed while on 3iu pre cardio fasted and then after first meal while on 2 + 2 ?

The only reason I can think is our hormones are very active when we sleep. So this may increase your levels and help convert more T4 to T3. I will have to see if there is any studies on this.

I still would take at least an hour after last meal.

Were you taking growth IM preworkout or subq?

Boom!!

I might try this on my next bloodwork when I get back to the states. See how it effects me

Edit - the did this study dosing it at night on a empty stomach

I’m wondering, after reading this, since I dose GH EOD, should I dose the the T4 the same, double dose EOD on GH days. GH is all dosed fasted(9iu EOD, pre fasted cardio, as per your recommendation.

Yeah I am going to research this more. Because of how the half-life of T4 is.... docs will still recommend an every day dosing but say u miss a dose they will recommend you double the dose the following day. Or via versa if you double your dose then miss a dose the next day. I will do some more reading I ain’t doing shit else while I’m in quarantine.

So for a person running GH almost all year you suggest to use T4 the whole time? At what dosage? Don't know man it seems to me a bit to much. Maybe run it the first 6-8 weeks ok but the whole GH run?
