ok So its been awhile since ive been on here. basically results in 16 weeks was i dropped from 272lbs to 198 (lowest wakeing weight) avg about 205 right now.
i dieted, lifted, cardio..... well i am currently not dieting. i eat small portions but lots of it, salad. pasta etc. but i stopped running i still lift. strength went up got bigger but i really want to start slimming. my eating is not horrible, still no soda lots of water but not really counting carbs and calories. i am 22 years old 6,3 but i want to have a low bf% im 18% bf at about 205 lbs. I know cardio will help but my question is if i run on the eliptical/ tredmil on a high resistance for about 45 min a day will the make a "HUGE" differnce in reducing my BF and continue to eat like a normal person now ? or will dieting only do it basically i want to do one or the other. i know combinding both will be faster results but i got about 6more months to drop my BF% id like to do it slow and now hate my life for the time being etc. plus if any good training tips let me know! Thanks guys!

ok, first off we need to keep it realistic here. Is getting to 8-10% bodyfat possible while having a semi lenient diet? Yes. Is getting beyond that possible without hating your life? No. In the past 15 years I've been bodybuilding competitor I have never went into extremely low bodyfat ranges without being miserable. But a good 8-10% is manageable. My advice to you based on what your telling me is simple. Cut your carbs out after 6pm and do cardio 4-5x/wk. Yes, the eliptical is fine, personaly I think the stairmaster is best. 4-5x/wk cardio for 45 min/session

no problem, just cut out your carbs 3-4 hrs before bedtime, only do protien/healthy fats prior to sleeping.
