Crashed gear and warming it on the coffee maker...you vent it correct? Only reason i ask is because oil keeps coming back up through my venting needle. I'm having an issue getting the compound to dissolve back into the oil

I don’t think it’s necessary to vent it on a coffee maker. But not 100% certain @picholas knows

Don’t put the tip of the needle into the oil when you heat the vial.

Tip should be in the air pocket above the oil.

My friend had to keep some dhb on coffee warmer for almost an hour to get back into solution. No venting necessary.

As long as it was steril it won’t.
