How often do you hang around some girls family that you are solely friends and have no interest in? Personally, not once.

Pretty damn often. Being close friends doesn’t have to ride borders of gender. Not saying that’s what’s going on here, but one female friend of mine in particular considers me an addition to the family. If I was hanging out with her parents and brother when she got home neither her nor my wife would bat an eye.

If you break this down rationally, to be insecure about the company your girl keeps, either you feel inadequate or you doubt her character. Either way, the issue is never the “other guy.” Most people would rather not hear that, but I believe it’s one or the other (or both).
