Only thing I’d consider bad that I put in my body is I have a monster with my lunch, don’t drink, haven’t touched Opiods in almost 5 years. I do eat some candy or a pastry every now and then. Been cruising on 200ish Cyp and I tested Primo and the DHB.

Awesome bro. I'm sober 1 year next week.

i think you can keep the monster, candy and pastry in there! :D

Exactly! That’s why bloodwork is key. Everyone responds differently. Trust me my Dr was scratching his head. We were still upping doses and making changes when I left trying to get me to 1-1,200 TT.

Peak or trough test? First doc always did trough but the next was always peak level testing.

Interesting—I’ve found I feel most normal at the 1k level but my doc wants me below 900. Keeps screwing with my dose and putting me on a wild roller coaster. About at the point of going it on my own.

If you can’t continue making gains, however slow, on 250 test (yes, gains, not maintain) then your diet, training, and recovery need help. Can’t change my mind. Most guys will hit 1250-1500+ on a test score there and be just fine for continuing to progress.

How advanced would the guy be making gains at 250? Surely you mean more of an intermediate guy and not a top npc/low Ifbb guy making gains at 250mg per week

I would say I’m fairly advanced and I’m not losing ground on 250 cruises...keep telling you guys the drugs aren’t the secret. And I don’t mean packing on pounds. I mean staying productive in the gym and keeping diet and training at a level to make some improvements.

Part of this is reasonable cruise lengths and not using 5g of gear on blasts...

Oh I completely agree not denying that at all, my weight is maintaining ok, but my strength is way off from when I had more test and dbol/drol. About 50 lbs off my best squat and 25-35 off best bench.

How many years have you been eating and training hard ? I’m about 8-9 years in..

I mean right now I’m doing 250 a week test e, getting in about 4500 cals, 300-350 protein , And weight just kinda hovers at 272-274.. been cruising for about 10 weeks.. just not seeing body make much progress at this dose, training has been super intense just can’t push the same weights I did on blast

Then make a change; work on some recomp, change your routine, etc. more than one way to progress. Can always make a move.

It’s totally different for everyone. There is no “sweet spot” when it comes to MG/week because everyone has their own sweet spot. Same with injection frequency. I was on Dr monitored TRT for a couple years and had bloods done every 14 weeks. Found 300mg/wk only put me at 800 TT. That’s from compounded pharmacy Test C. I also needed to inject EOD because I have high SHBG. Some only need 1, maybe 2 injections/week at 1-200MG. I don’t need to be on Dr monitored TRT anymore so I’ll blast and cruise and when I cruise I’ll stay around 4-450mg/wk which puts me1,500 TT and where I feel best. Some may say that’s too much for a cruise but a lot also say 300mg is too much for a “TRT” dose yet bloods dictate that.

Solid reply - thanks. I still have a lot to learn. I'll just stay on top of bloodwork and see what works for me.

With diet is it a waste going up in protein ? Already well over 1 gram per pound, and I’m only counting this from eggs , steak and my egg white shakes, not including protein powder. Doing about 500 carbs give or take maybe 600 on training days.. I feel That’s enough so far . At what point would you blast then ?

For sure brotha. But hey some guys don’t need to know what their TT is, if they are making good progress on 100, 200 Or 250/wk and feel good then that’s all you need. Health markers on blood work are key to monitor though.

I was at 2g/lb+ and still am for protein.

On a cruise my goal would be slow recomp and decreasing cals to be in a better position for bodyfat and lower cals for more headroom for my blast.

Oh ok I see . 2 grams is a ton I’ve never tried that I’ll move it up to 1.5+ from food and see what happens though . How long is your cruise and about how long for your blast ?
