Pretty sure there is a national donor database that'd tell wherever you were donating what your donation history is, so fibbing on your history probably is out the window. Don't quote me on that, but that's the only way to keep flagged/blacklisted donors from just going down the street to a different donation outfit, so I see it working the other way, too.
In my instance there's no way for them to know who I am, everything is on paper so there's no checking of a database, at least until after I've donated, if they ever do. I'll check to see what personal info they track on the barcodes but I doubt much.
Also fun fact about blood and organs; you don't actually own them. There's no law that says you own your body parts, so there's some weird shit that happens behind the scenes on paper when you sell/donate things like blood, plasma, or organs.
